I normally have the burger because it is fantastic. I came in yesterday they asked if I wanted to try the special. Blackened chicken on grits. I ordered it to go and a bowl of tomato basil soup. I opened up the box and it was beautiful! I tasted it and it was absolutely delicious. I could have eaten 5 lbs of those grits! The soup was terrific also. Go try this place! Live music on the weekends too!

I was here on a weekend with my motorcycle group for lunch.
We didn’t randomly go there. This place was suggested to us by another group.
Boy, this place is right out of a fairy tale. It is soo picturesque. Very serene and relaxing. If you sit outside, you are looking at a line of mountains.. almost spiritual ( if you are on your third beer ).
Next up, you notice the friendly lady waitress named Julie. She’s also a partner to the establishment, I was told.
The food turned out to be fantastic . This was the opinion from all the 12 members with no exceptions.
The other added extra that surprised us was how cheap the price was compared to the quality. ( we were prepared to see a price around 20$ per item. Instead, everything turned out to be around 10$ )
( They have a good selection of beer as well. Unfortunately, our groups policy prevents us from consuming alcohol during the rides )
Also met with the chef who was a very nice lady. She used to own a successful food truck in Chattanooga, I heard.
Im planning to go back in my car and spend an evening there with my family – they have LED lights and music that create an entirely different mood.

Great service and a beautiful location! I had lunch on the patio with a beautiful view. I recommend the corn cake/pimento cheese appetizer. The pulled pork sandwich was absolutely delicious and big portion size! The baked beans were good but a little sweet (personal preference). Love the local brewery options as well. Absolutely worth a drive for lunch or dinner!
My only comments would be the menus and tables could use a clean, and the patio is beautiful it could use some better shade or furniture.

If I could give this place more stars for service u would! I went at the very end of the day. As soon as I was sat the staff was very forthcoming about missing a lot menu options due to a busy day. I asked if I could get the chicken quesadilla with pork instead of chicken since they had run out of chicken and they made the substitution even though it was not on the menu. They had a bowl for dogs and brought out some fresh water when they saw my girl with me. It was honestly refreshing just how kind and connected the staff was and you could tell they really cared about the customers and each other. Because I was the only customer left, after I had finished my meal Amanda and Jayden (not sure of the spelling here) came to sit with me a talk for a while. They both also gave the pups lot of cuddles which she adored. It felt less like going to a restaurant and more like going to your grandmas house on Sunday morning for a meal. The customer service, atmosphere, food and general experience was amazing and I will be adding this to my list of regular restaurants.

Best restaurant I’ve been to in Georgia. Not even because the food was absolutely amazing but mainly because I literally can’t imagine a better more homey and welcome service atmosphere. Not only do they make you feel like you want to be here BUT they also clearly are happy to be here. They had a great brunch selection and we got a burger and eggs Benedict on with pulled pork. Eggs were corked perfectly the bbq was perfect and it all just fit together perfectly. Did I mention the chef came out personally just to say hi real quick and ask how we were doing? They have struck the perfect balance between southern hospitality while still leaving the interactions short and concise enough to leave you alone to enjoy the beautiful views around the restaurant and of course the food. Also if you’re serving me some corn cakes with a house-made pimento cheese on the house just as a courtesy immediately after we ordered our food AND they turn out to be the best corn cakes I’ve ever had in my life, you’re doing something right. Seriously, I don’t even like corn cakes. You need to have these corn cakes… so fluffy.

We loved Pigeon Mountain Grill. We are going to love Petunia’s Silver Jalapeño. Good smoky flavor on pulled pork. Reasonable prices. Warm and personable staff. Special events. Periodic live music. Great vibe inside and out.

I am so proud of Gin and what she’s built at the new Silver Jalapeño! I have missed her food so much over the years and was delighted to see that not much has changed! Everything we had was absolutely delicious (the BBQ, fish tacos, and desserts were INCREDIBLE), the service was friendly and courteous, and the prices were great! The drive out to Chickamauga from Chattanooga is such pretty countryside and the ambience in the restaurant reminded me of simpler times. We will definitely be back!!!

My husband and I stopped for lunch on our way back from a hike and were so glad we did! I have a gluten allergy and they went above and beyond to make sure that I was safe! The food was delicious, veggie burger and loaded chili dog, plus guacamole and chips. We saw the pork sandwich, which looked amazing. With a great patio that overlooks the mountains, we could have spent the day there. The service was impeccable, especially since a group of 40 showed up right after we did. Worth the drive from Chattanooga!
