Will return for the decor, service, and food.

The food is fantastic: it looks great and tastes wonderful. We’ve:

fried octopus
Arancino
fried calamari & zucchini
baked veggies trios
A few steps away from the Disney Concert Hall and the opera house (which offer 10% off with a ticket), it features a high ceiling, wood shutters (or wood-like?), an open kitchen, and tiles, with thin stems; it just feels right for me.

We sat by the bar because tables are all booked – it’s an opera night. We learned of this Italian restaurant from two ladies we met at last night’s concert at Disney – go figure -:).

The bartender doesn’t have a fancy shaking motion but is keeping a close eye on us: constantly asking if we need a refill or something. I don’t consider it pushy, even though our glasses are half empty. When the bar area got busy, they asked two people to move to accommodate a foursome.

The only TV monitor is showing sports, with eight events going on simultaneously. I glanced at the volleyball from time to time, but was unable to follow: just too hard with seven other things going on. Maybe just one? Change the channel when someone asks?

They’ve two corporate events going on that night: one with 150 people and one with 50. The hors d’oeuvres look so yummy that it gives me the urge to sneak in, ha ha ha.

By 6pm, the house is packed to the brim. One staff member came looking for wine, which is behind us. He asked the bartender for help – sorry, I don’t speak Spanish, but my best guess is that he couldn’t find the wine his table had ordered.

Desserts are made in-house except macrons.

Oh, the 10% off with the opera ticket, of course, I forgot all about it when paying.

I stopped in alone before a concert at the walt Disney music center. They didn’t make me feel at all awkward for being alone..some places do. They sat me where I was comfortable and the waitress was very helpful and kind about recommending dishes. They also didn’t make me feel awkward for not ordering a main dish. I wasn’t that hungry so I had the octopus appetizer. She suggested it because it was almost like a meal, with potatoes and green beans. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the octopus. My mom used to fix it when I was little but I’d never try it. I recommend it. I had a glass of wine with it. I then had coffee with an apple cake type of dessert with vanilla ice cream which was really good too.. the atmosphere was lively with lots of folks dressed up to go to the concert too. Nice evening out.

Great Italian option and perfectly for pre-show as it’s waking distance to the Broad, Ahmanson, and the Disney music Hall. They have an extensive wine list. An Italian nebiolo pairs perfectly with their Seafood stew. The stew has an healthy amount of fish, shrimp, and langoustine. We also had the braised rib, and it was rich and tender. Will definitely go back again to try other dishes. As for dessert, the tiramisu is not a stand out.

The dinner was salmon and a vegetable and the vegetable was burnt black and was inedible. After sending it back it returned with half normal and half burnt pieces. This is an expensive restaurant. It was too late to send back again because the Disney has a schedule. The waiter was good but a great waiter would not serve it burnt. Especially twice.

Stopped in for dinner before we caught “Into the Woods” next door, and man— we couldn’t have picked a better spot.

Service is terrific, the space is airy and cozy, and the food is just excellent. Creative specials, fresh ingredients, all prepared to perfection. The cocktails were great too! Prices were right about what you’d expect for the area, but you sure do get what you pay for. I’d love to come back the next time I’m in the area.

Very packed here for a Thursday night! Must be doing something right! Tried their eggplant appetizer and the salmon. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Perfectly crisp on the outside and very moist and tender on the inside. Old-fashioned cocktail was very expensive but delicious! Finished off with tiramusu and headed to the Ahmanson theatre. Great stuff!

Friendly, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere. The waitress was attentive and knowledgeable of their live menu. Their half windows brought a light breeze that brought comfort as we ate our meals.
The views are of symmetrical designed buildings and brought calmness as you look out the window.
Great for family, friends, or dates. I definitely recommend.

A very cozy Italian restaurant! I came in the evening and sat in the summer seating area — it was warm and comfortable, with a truly lovely atmosphere. The staff were polite and attentive, and the service was excellent. I ordered a pizza with arugula and a cocktail — everything was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. A perfect place for a relaxing evening, I’ll definitely be coming back…

Thank you to the staff that took care of my son on and his friends on 2/3/26. He was attending a field trip to a museum nearby. He wandered in with no reservation. They treated him very kindly. He was so happy to tell me of his experience. They are middle school students who really enjoyed their lunch.
