Just had lunch here…food was good and FRESH!!!. They bring you hushpuppies once seated…sooooo delicious . This place is well kept secret in Griffin GA. Located in an unassuming shopping strip but know that their hood is fantastic and fresh – from the lobster to the flounder. I had catfish and my husband had shrimp with flounder (must have been a good size piece of fish because he said he was full). Along with my meal, I had the slaw….that slaw was one of the best and ONLY GREEN slaw I have ever had. I love love me some slaw and the southern ones are my favorite…go to Fishtales and let me know…

Absolutely loved this place. Casual atmosphere, friendly service and great food. They give you hush puppies instead of bread that were fantastic(and I usually don’t like them), the staff was really friendly, and the food was amazing while still being reasonably priced. Took my date there in Friday night and only spent $70 with me getting beer and including a 20%. Will be going again.

I’m going to try to be fair with this restaurant this restaurant is not bad I just feel like he needs a little more attention and I like be invited when that happens as soon as you come in if feels like a funeral inside the waitress never once smiled I do feel like it’s too expensive though. I tried the grits in the shrimp oysters. The way they handled the oyster here it’s beyond bad for a place that serves seafood. The shrimp on the grits was just too salty and the flavors just feel like they don’t go together.

Well our server seemed to be a little preoccupied. The restaurant wasn’t that busy either. Our Check was $24.18 but the waiter Chelsea R, brought back the ticket to be signed it said, $30.84. We assume she tipped herself (without consent). Please look at your receipt to make sure it’s accurate.

I visited the restaurant fishtales this evening and paid $35 for what you see pictured along with a appetizer of clam strips. It was not all bad the clam strips, tartar sauce, and hush puppies were really tasty. The potatoes were bland and the cheese grits had a different taste then I’m use to. The food is overpriced and definitely not worth it. Will not be returning. The fish was over cooked and not seasoned. When you serve fish add fresh lemon as a condiment and hot sauce as well. If you are looking for seasoned seafood this is not where you will get it.

Friendly servers, good food. The mounted fish and decor really needs to be dusted. The blackened catfish was delicious. The buffalo shrimp appetizer was delicious but there were only five shrimp, need to have more shrimp for the price and especially for sharing an appetizer with others. The grits had a sort of sweet taste and a sort of pudding like texture; would much rather have them on the savory side rather than the sweet side. The key lime cake was very good, and the frosting was creamy and not overly rich, which is perfect in my opinion. Sometimes frostings can be overly sweet and gritty, but this frosting was really good. Price is ok but a little much considering we didn’t eat much of the grits or okra; totaled $56.76, not including tip. We had a 1 tap beer, 1 soda, 1 app, 2 fish and shrimp plates, and shared a piece of cake.

Under new management, went with a group of 10 from our community, very popular had a small wait but went in quickly. Wait staff was very efficient and pleasant, owner/manager made sure we were all taken care of properly. Food and service were tops, very efficient, within 20 minutes of taking order of our large group, food was being delivered to our table, looked great and tasted great, well seasoned, nice portions, everyone in our group commented how tasty the dishes were. We will definitely put this one on our repeat Friday dining experiences.
