A traditional dice bar w pool tables, a juke box and small menu of great food.
Most times low volume and chill but does get a lil loud nnroudu when the right song or mood is in the air.
Great selections of draft beer and daily specials

The Frito Pie is to die for! I got mine Christmas style and both chili’s taste straight from Hatch! Night recommend! And it’s cheap!

First time in this place today. They don’t have Lone Star lager, so I went with the Shiner Bock, which ended up being $7 a bottle. Service at the bar was top notch. Food looked good.

Came in to watch Bowl Games, audio was horrible. Place was pretty full. Our waitress/bartender was on her game. We had wings, nachos, chile fries, and tenders. We enjoyed them all. Great place for food and drinks.

So, the staff is epic. Owners are not. I can’t leave a review unless I leave 5 stars as a whole, owners have money, which is what the place is worth thanks to the staff. But the bar, bathroom, kitchen, and atmosphere need a lot of help. The owners also have the copper lounge, and don’t pay attention to Louie’s. It a fantastic bar and my go to chill place. But the owner needs to pay it some attention. If this is how we get your attention then cool! Cool! Help Your Employees. They’re fantastic. We don’t all want the “vibe”

Here we go again – an owner who is never present and who apparently cares so little about the regular crowd that one pool table has been broken for at least two months, the other for a week, and the third now just takes quarters (and likely will soon be full up) because she can’t be bothered to come get our dollar bills out of the collection box until this happens – and even then it takes like a week. Just pay someone to fix them already and give the keys to the bartenders like literally every other bar I’ve been to across the country. And, all of the above happens reg.u.lar.ly. Watched at least 30 people walk in and immediately out the last two days. Let’s be clear – there are several nights a week that the pool playing regulars and our non-playing friends are 50-75% of the business for several hours of the night. This pattern is simply disrespectful and so easy to fix that it feels purposeful at worst, lazy in the middle, and just cheapskate at best. As a group of 25-30 regular players here, we bring several thousands of dollars to this bar every month. We invite people we play with in league to here and now are embarrassed to do so. We hold regular tournaments here and now don’t think we can because we don’t trust the tables.

To be clear – the bartenders are some of the best in town and I’m sure their take of tips clearly suffers from the walk in/walk out pattern. The community of people that come regularly are about as chill as you can get but also about as fed up as we can be. Ready to find a new place to take our business.

Pictures are from a Friday night at 6pm. This side of the bar would be full if the tables were cared for.

11 Sept 2025: Louie’s Pub & Grill is a quaint, little pub (I dig it). Over the past year, I’ve probably stopped by 3 or 4 times (always in the afternoon, before 4pm) and it’s always been the same thing: Some old-timer veteran’s in there talking people’s ear off (if you sit at the bar). Before you get upset, I’m a 20-year (retired) USMC veteran. The issue is – they talk, not listen. They want you to listen to them, not the other way around. If that doesn’t bother you, then stop by – it’s a chill, little place. The staff and (typical bar) food are good to go! There’s always an option: Sit at a table if you’re not a talker… or don’t want to listen to someone ramble on about their past. It’s pretty consistent during weekdays, but don’t let that stop you from checking out Louie’s Pub & Grill – just expect to be engaged by a regular/s if you sit at the bar. Have fun!

Traveling from Utah and this was exactly the kind of bar we were hoping for. Pretty low key but not trashy at all. Audi was amazing. She did everything on her own and she did it well. I assume she’s the owner and takes pride in what she does. Thanks for taking care of us.

Louie’s pub is a fun neighborhood bar where everyone is a friend! The bar staff is absolutely amazing and Amanda is pretty and awesome herself! I loved the house burger with a nice fresh side salad and I’m excited to try the other menu dishes! I know this is my new favorite spot when I visit Albuquerque!! Can’t wait to come back and see Amanda and enjoy a refreshing Jack Daniel’s on the rocks! See ya soon Louie’s! FYI scenes from breaking bad filmed here
