Friendly service, heavy food — mixed experience
We came here looking for a lighter meal, but most of the food was quite rich and heavy. The dishes weren’t bad — just very filling and oily. We had lunch and didn’t feel like eating anything else for the rest of the day.
The staff was fantastic — very friendly and attentive, always checking in to make sure we were okay. The place was clean, and service was great.
We tried the pasta and schnitzel — the schnitzel was genuinely delicious. The rest of the food was average and a bit too greasy for our taste.
✨ What we do highly recommend are their drinks! The Italian cream sodas and lemonades were outstanding — flavorful, refreshing, and really unique. Definitely worth trying if you visit.
The menu is large, so you might find something that works better for your preferences — like a salad. Overall, it’s an okay spot if you’re not watching for something light, and service definitely makes the experience more pleasant.

Authentic Greek and Italian fare! Our dishes were flavorful and on point. The gyro plate, kebabs, chicken carbonara, and baklava taste like delicious homemade dishes! We highly recommend Marlo’s!

Crescent City does not deserve a restaurant that serves food this good! I am not an expert, but this was by far the best Alfredo I ever had. My guests said they loved theirs as well. Do no miss an opportunity to eat here.

Posted updated menu photos as I was expecting it to be a bit cheaper with more appetisers and meze based on the older menus here. Seems like the place has had a Ramseyfication. Aiming for a higher end feel with a more limited menu. But a gyro in foil is still a gyro in foil. Prices are a bit high. Decor is ok, nothing special. Service was good. A couple in our party had the tomato bisque and didn’t like it. Tomato flavour was lacking and it just tasted a bit muddled. Kebabs were decent but again, quite pricy for what they are.
It would be good to see some traditional greek meze like dolmades, spanakopita, saganaki, keftedes, dips, feta stuffed peppers.

Delicious pasta dishes, including fresh seafood linguine. Great service and lively atmosphere, even though we arrived shortly before closing. Very happy with our meal.

Marlo’s restaurant was sooo perfect. The food was amazing, having the best noodles i’ve ever had. The service was flawless, fast, and reliable. The restaurant had many paintings and pictures to look at, everyone was friendly, and was simply just a 10/10. I HIGHLY recommend trying this place if you stop by in Crescent City.

I’ve never had a lasagna so good. The ravioli was also amazing. My wife had a gyro with fried zucchini. Also amazing. I had a strawberry Italian soda. If you’re ever in Crescent City, CA, you have to eat dinner here. So amazing.

We had a pretty good experience at Marlo’s Restaurant last week. After completing our day at the Jedediah Smith Park we headed to Crescent city looking for dinner and selected this place from google reviews.
We were not disappointed at all at our choice. Had a fulfilling dinner and the gentleman attending us was quite courteous as well. I missed to get his name but he made our experience better.
The food was over all good and tasty and price was as at an average good. We ordered the following and for that we paid about $50-55.
Chicken Bacon Carbonara
Gyros Sandwich
Soda
Lemonade
So, overall I will definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Crescent city for their Redwood tour.

Fantastic Greek and Italian restaurant. Our server was stellar: fast, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The dining room is quiet, but not fancy. The food is simple, typical, and authentic — but not fancy. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable.

I came in about fifty minutes before closing time and that probably made a difference. The pacing was frantic. My pasta arrived before I was halfway through my salad. I ordered a glass of wine and was never asked if I wanted a second, which I did. The food was reasonable for a small town restaurant, but it seemed like the staff just wanted to get the hell out of there.
