As a bourbon lover, I was tipped off about the study at deans and was a fan of deans steakhouse when I tried it in Austin. We decided to have dinner at the deans in San Antonio which was just as good but I made a reservation at the study to check out their bourbon collection. It’s a small, quaint little space that is perfect for a date night. I had intended to just get pours of allocated stuff but their cocktails are where it’s at. The absolute stars of the show though are the mixologists. Ari was absolutely wonderful and def made what was already a good night, great. Will def be back because of her.

The service truly made the night. Benicio Morales and Jordan Zapata were attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. They made sure everything was perfect and created such a welcoming experience.

To whomever is in charge of The Study, Ari needs a raise! Super amazing, knowledgeable, and she has great marketing ideas. This place is a hidden gem. The cocktails were amazing and the warm nuts….. a definite highlight. The atmosphere is cozy and the cocktails were amazing! Such an amazing experience! If you have reservations at Deans be sure to come early for a cocktail or stay late for a cocktail. Either way you will win!

This new speakeasy is located in the same building as Tenfold rooftop. We came here after tenfold & were pleasantly surprised by the craft cocktails & presentation. The espresso martini came out clear & the ice cream “cocktail” is basically alcoholic dip n dots. Ambiance is intimate & service was great! Will definitely have to come back, cheers!

Great cocktail bar within the Kimpton in San Antonio. It was a bit hard to navigate to with the construction outside but staff were helpful when we asked where to go. We only stopped in for a nightcap but the food menu looked great too. We had a seasonal old fashioned and a Sazarac – both were of high quality.
