A wonderful local establishment. The decor was simple yet elegant. Booths, low-tops and high-tops await your choice. Service was excellent. Our server was so friendly. She smiled and joked with us. She provided great advice and quick service. Monday night martini specials were great. All three different seafood appetizers incredible and our streak entrees were cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delightful. The Steaks where awesome and delicious and cooked right on point. The Mac and Cheese was the best I ever tasted. The Salmon and the Wildrice so good. It’s on the pricey side but it worth the money. The Service was excellent and you don’t have to wait for long to get your food.

The cocktails are worth a trip to the rail. Ella, behind the bar, creates some uniquely delicious seasonal cocktails as well as your favorites. Her house made syrups and love of the craft make every drink one to experience.

There was a mix-up with our reservation, but they fixed it fast and had us seated in no time. The bartender took care of us personally—so authentic, friendly, and you could tell she truly loves her job.
I had the ribeye steak, my wife had the chicken parmesan, and both were absolutely delicious. Great food, great service, and an all-around great experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Was in town for the weekend and stopped in for dinner. Atmosphere is a little dark but nice. Tables around the bar can be a little loud but not terrible.
The appetizer could have been presented better, maybe chopped tomatoes instead of just sliced once… dishes are not cohesive with photos. Food was very good and fresh.

For me to leave Fort Wayne for a steak house!!! Is unheard of. But I was recommended by a friend and let me tell you, this is my new favorite. Shorty’s is a wonderful spot! They have great drinks, great steak, and their stroganoff is fantastic! We were celebrating, so we really did it up and it was a great place to do so. Started with an espresso martini and smores old fashion – so delicious. Then we did the smoked salmon dip which was wonderful with the pita crackers. My husband went for a filet with the 3 cheese hash and brussel sprouts. He ate everything and then I got the filet tip stroganoff with brussel sprouts! Very very good!
