Wood Kitchen & Bar is located on the premises of Vala Hua Hin, a high end luxury resort Cha-am/Hua Hin. We ordered Pepperoni Pizza and Chicken Quesadillas to share. The food was exceptional. The pizza crust was extra thin and topping abundantly delicious. The Chicken Quesadillas were really flavorful and juicy full of Mexican flavors that you want more and more! There is plenty of private parking. It was a hot day so we decided to sit inside where it is cool and comfortable. The staff spoke English and was friendly and helpful. We would like to come back again to try other dishes. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Disgusting pizza made with cheap, highly processed frozen dough. Not real dough. Not fresh. Just factory-made, additive-loaded cardboard. At this price, I at least expect someone to mix cheap flour and water. Even the cheapest real dough would be better than this. Cutting through it felt like slicing a two-year-old leftover. Dry, dense, and disgusting.
The cheese and toppings? Clearly the cheapest possible. Everything tastes low-quality, like it came from the bargain bin of a shabby restaurant.
And the salmon, either their fridge is broken or the fish was already not fresh when they bought it. Even the cheapest salmon from Makro in Thailand tastes fresher and less fishy than this.
Then comes the sparkling wine. I ordered a glass and got the sad leftovers from a bottle that clearly died days ago. No bubbles. Not even a tiny one. If you can’t serve a proper glass, open a new bottle or at least advise the customer to order something else. Serving flat sparkling wine is just embarrassing.
One male server also had a pretty disappointing attitude, which didn’t help at all.
Honestly, do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else. Even nearby local places offer fresher food and better value for the money. This place charges premium prices but delivers budget disappointment.
The only good thing to say about this place is that it was quite empty at the time we visited it. And the parking was free.

Had both breakfast and dinner here.
The breakfast selection is adequate but maybe comparably less than those 5-star large hotel chain. Overall the food is excellent.
The dinner menu offers a lot of choice from western, thai cuisines to Spanish tapas. The dark ink squid is exquisite and the cocktail is great.

Delicious and the best breakfast ! They have literally everything; dimsum, noodle, moo-ping sticky rice, kanom jeen, noodle, boil rice/congee, Japanese breakfast, western, continental breakfast, fresh fruit juice, soy milk, crape, waffle, bread, bakery, egg, cereal, salad, etc.
Dinner is also fantastic. Everything is delicious.
Ambience is very nice either morning or night.
Excellent service. Staffs are very polite and prompt to service!

The Wagyu steak is delicious and comes with few sauces. The chicken wings are tasty and crispy, some flour taste is obvious.
The BBQ skewer is nice too.
The drinks are price on the high side, house pour wine quntity is definitely below standard pour of minimum 150ml which is not acceptable for a 5 stars restaurant.
Still we enjoyable the dinner overall.

We visited the restaurant during our visit to Cha am. The ambience is very aesthetic. The staff was very kind and friendly. Bit expensive, but the food was good. We ordered:
1) Grilled salmon with woonsen salad. Taste wise delicious. Salmon was perfect grilled and salad ws yum.
