I love the restaurant and would have given more stars but paying $30 for cold tacos was absolutely disappointing. Even more disappointing was the big cup of rice and beans that normally gets filled to the top and it wasn’t even half way full and also was cold. I live 2 minute away and was told it would be ready in 15 and I got there in 10 and it was already bagged and had been sitting for probably longer. I went to a location in portage and it was so much better. Man I’m disappointed. Won’t be going back. Cold food is unacceptable.

I dined here hoping it was going to be pretty good. Or at least better than the place there before it. I ordered the Cabana Nachos with steak and wings. The nachos were just OK…. they were edible. It was like they just poured some canned nacho cheese and sour cream over the tortillas and added meat and jalapeños. The wings…. well they were definitely huge pieces, BUT, these wings were so blonde (as in cooked color) that I instantly had an (I don’t think these are done moment). I ordered 6 and 4 of them were the drum pieces and 2 flats. I absolutely despise drums but I didn’t specify that I only wanted flats so that’s not on them. As I’m picking these drums apart I’m seeing that I was right and that these are undercooked. The server saw I was having issues and asked how everything was. I told her that the wings were not done completely and by this time I was completely grossed out so when she asked if I wanted her to remake them I said no. Then she asked if I wanted a box and again it was a no from me….I was just ready to go. When the bill was brought to me there wasn’t even a courtesy discount off the $12 uncooked wings that I didn’t eat, no apologies, nothing. I have to say I was in a great mood today so I wasn’t even going to debate it…..but I do need them to get it together. Not everyone is going to be pleased with your establishment be it service, food or atmosphere but at least make an effort to take care of those that do have an issue, even if they decline, OFFER!

Stopped here for a beer and a snack. Used to come when it was the lodge. Step out of our car, the parking lot and entry was littered with trash. Bad 1st impression. Sat at the bar and it seemed sticky and dirty. The restaurant was practically empty. The bartender did greet us. Nice beer selection. The only problem. I ordered 3 beers and every glass was dirty. Red stained sticky substance. She did clean the glass before but they need to be scrubbed. Ordered the nacho appetizer. The presentation was nice but for 12 dollars was pretty much a small layer of chips drenched in liquid cheese. No shredded cheese and she forgot the ground beef. Not worth the money. The salsa seemed fresh and homemade. The pickled jalapeños were old and dry. Overall a lack luster experience. Seems lately most places are lacking cleanliness and value for what you order.

We stopped in here while looking for a place to eat. We didn’t know this location changed to a Mexican restaurant, but we gave it a shot. The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious, and the drinks went down smoothly. Prices weren’t too bad. We will definitely come back again

We had a chicken chimichanga and the chicken fajitas.
Our server Tori, was attentive and provided a great recommendation. The chimi was delicious and full of flavor. The fajitas were good too! We also got a mango and a regular margarita. They were so good we got two each. Im looking forward to trying their chicken wings next.

New place, and I will give it time. Food was tasty, however, the filling in the tacos barely covered the shell. Chips also a little stale. Hopefully things will vastly improve, if so, I would go often, but I will wait on others rave reviews with pictures before I do

Walked in here at 11pm looking for a taco and a beer. Best carne asada tacos I’ve had around NWI, and we were shocked at how good the wings were. They have a big menu with different types of food and everything we tried was beyond expectation. The GM Torri served us and she a delight. This is our new late night spot!

The carne asada is the best I’ve had compared to a few authentic Mexican restaurants, including Asada grill & cantina, El Amigo, Tacos & burritos, and Burrito station. The beans are delicious, and although the mashed potatoes are a little thick, they’re good. I love the sauce that I believe is a pesto (with jalapenos?) for dipping my beef. All that with flour tortillas for $22 is fair.
