This restaurant was sweet, cute, and had good food. 3 of us got the cheeseburgers, and my son got the kids’ chicken strips. Everything had good flavor. The fries were seasoned and crunchy (our favorite). The building is metal, and my son had a hard time without his phone (the cell service wasn’t working the best), but the server brought over some coloring books and a bag of crayons. That was very thoughtful. Overall, it was a great experience for a country restaurant.

My wife and ate here while traveling through town. Service was good and dining room clean. My wife had the special of the day which was beef and noodles with mashed potatoes and green beans. The noodles and green beans were SO salty she couldn’t eat them. I had a salad and fried mushrooms with being good eating.

What a delightful dining experience we had this past weekend when we were visiting from out of town! The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and kind. The waffle cheese fries burger bun was so creative and the dill pickle salad was unique and yummy! (I’ll be trying to duplicate the recipe at home 3 hours away!). A local treat, it was pretty tasty. I got the Buffalo wrap which was good, but a little heavy on the ranch. The French fries were super good and tasty. My wife got the poney shoe (if you are not from Illinois, that is an open face burger covered in French fries and cheese), which she said was good and brought back childhood memories.
Service was excellent and the atmosphere was spot on for the local dinner. Definitely recommend checking this out!
