Probably the best all you can eat sushi restaurant on the island. Dinner is 31,90€ from Monday to Thursday or 33,90€ on weekends, with an endless selection of dishes to choose from. Beverages are not included and there is a small surcharge only if you leave food behind. The variety is incredible and everything tastes fresh and delicious. It is advisable to book in advance because it gets busy, and some of the seating areas are really charming. The staff is efficient. The restaurant is perfectly located in the heart of St Julian’s, just a short walk from Portomaso Marina. We have been here so many times that I have honestly lost count.

We went to try this on a Thursday, and the food was great. The sushi was fresh, and everything tasted delicious. The service was a bit on the slower end so make time for that. The rest overall atmosphere was great.

We opted for the all-you-can-eat option. When we walked in we were just seated at a table and were given no instructions on how to order for the all you can eat. Once we ordered, we were shocked at the portion sizes. We were given a portion of edemame with only 15 pieces. Not to mention that all the food came cold. Each dish was served separately with at least 20 minutes wait between them. The waitress seemed to not understand English as she came to my table asking if I was done with my dish (which was completely full). When I told her no she nodded and proceeded to take it. The only good thing about this restaurant is the sushi. However it is very expensive and you can get a lot better from other places.

I can say that we never had any kind of bad experience ☺️ quite the opposite. We regularly visiting for the “all you can eat” and haven’t been disappointed at all.
The staff is super nice to us and the sushi is made fresh and the rice is prepped and seasoned the right way!
The restaurant is usually filled with people from Asia (like myself) the vibe there is filled with calm happiness. A place to feel super safe and comfy with – as mentioned the all you can eat experience ☺️
The Sushi comes on VERY pretty decorated plates, the staff never missed a single item of the list. It’s quite simple: scan the QR code of the menu, write on a little list the item number and the quantity. Enjoy ☺️
As a vegetarian I always find wonderful rolls and – guys! Don’t miss out on the tofu and grilled vegetables ❤️ it’s my absolute favorite!
I can recommend the KOI Sushi restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and YES, we will come back. As always.

I think Koi is one of the best sushi places on the island. Their all you can eat is definitely a local favourite. Went there recently, had one small issue… food was great as usual, service with a smile, but the portion size of some of the items was ridiculously small…yes, you can order more and more, so no big issues, but ordering a duck, and being serves one slice, cut inti 6 pieces the size of a euro coin, is taking it too far, especially when the menu shows a picture of some 4 nice, juicy slices of duck breast.
Other than that, constantly high level of food and service. Would go again.

The only positive experience here was that the staff were friendly and the restaurant decor is nice.
On the other hand the food quality and service were pretty terrible. Although we had a somewhat large order, I did not expect that it would take 15-25 minute intervals between dishes. Some of the sushi rolls tasted exactly the same, while some others were very questionable. A couple of sushi rolls should simply be removed from the menu, they did not taste good at all.
To top it all off, we all felt a little nauseous a couple of hours after leaving.
This restaurant has so much potential but somehow feels far away from getting it right. Would not recommend it to a friend.

I had the pleasure of dining at Koi, and it was a sushi lover’s dream come true. The sushi was impeccably fresh, expertly crafted, and bursting with flavor. The menu had a diverse selection of rolls and sashimi to satisfy every palate. The attentive service and inviting ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. I highly recommend Koi for an exceptional sushi dining experience that won’t disappoint!

2 years ago this was honestly the best Asian place in the country. It’s gone downhill though. The service, while never quick, is now glacial. The portions are smaller and drier. It is still very good value for money, but it’s not the absolute showstopper it used to be.
