Visiting from NYC and stopped in for a quick lunch. The food was fresh, delicious. Clearly made to order. Had the fried burro, quesadilla, and some sweet treats. All were huge portion sizes.
The staff were super friendly and helpful to make my order. We plan to stop back in again before heading home!

First time to Someburrors. I like the set up, half fast food half sitdown restaurant. I REALLY like that they serve food on real plates rather than styrofoam.
Got a small paper bowl of chips, looked like the crumbs from the bottom of the sack. I ordered a chicken tamale with green sauce and a beef tamale with red sauce. Plus a Mexican sprite.
Best part of the meal was the Sprite. The tamales were more masa than meat. Kinda looked like mass produced corn dogs.

TLDR: Good comfort Mexican food, with quick service and clean environment.
We had been to the Someburros in Flagstaff and were unimpressed, but when one went in practically next door, we had to try it again. The restaurant is clean with plenty of seating and helpful staff. My wife got the taquito plate and I got Borracho Burro. The food was good and I found the burrito surprisingly full of meat. They also provide chips as well as a bottle of red salsa and a bottle of green salsa. Both were comfortably spicy and tasted good. I also appreciated that we got our own, clean bottles of salsa and not community bottles that had been passed around among various folks. The array of beverages was impressive, including several Aguas Frescas. My favorite was the Horchata.
We will be back again to try other things; especially since they are close and, comparatively speaking, reasonably priced.

This was my first visit with them so I had lots of questions. Zach was very kind and helpful. I ordered shredded beef tacos, shredded chicken tacos, mini chimichangas, taco salads, rice and beans for my family. Everything was amazing! I will definitely be ordering again. When I got home I called to ask questions about a party and spoke to the manager Ty. She was also nice, kind and patient with me. The food is great, prices are fair and wait time is fair given the fact that they are so busy.

The chicken tacos looked like something out of a horror movie, literally a tiny pinch of lettuce and overly processed meat. The sauce on the tamales was unappetizing and kind of spicy, the salsa was very spicy, just a heads up.

Overall I was pleasantly surprised. I got the two shredded beef tacos combo. The beans and rice had nice flavor. Nothing unique, but definitely not bland. The crunchy tacos were very crunchy, which I love. The shredded beef had good flavor. My little one love the meat, beans, and rice. The verde salsa had great flavor and was my favorite. The service was great and the atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming.

My family & I love some burros & eat here often. Service has been good inside & in the drive thru. Everyone is friendly & helpful. I think it’s hard to rate food as everyone has such diverse palettes. We have eaten many items off their menu & have not had a dish we do not like. Everything is well flavored. Not all Mexican food restaurants make good fresh beans & rice. They do here at Some Burros. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody.
