The last and only Sunrise fried Chicken. Father and daughter ran. Nice people . It’s worth the short wait because they fry your chicken as ordered so it hot tasty and fresh. Not to mention the sides are good. The dirty rice is way better than Popeyes rice. Believe it! Worth every penny .

The homemade rice dressing tasted like mawmaws recipe and the fried chicken had the best flavor and a crispness to the skin that tasted like home cooking. Apparently there are new owners so we gave them a try. The lady who is the new order was very friendly. However , the rice dressing was sour and you could smell it. The chicken was cooked to dry but yet very bloody inside. I really miss Dawayne .

I live in Denham Springs La, during the flood of 2016 we lost everything and was in a hotel in Houma. My whole family wanted something that tastes like home! Fried Chicken was a Sunday Stapple in our home for Sunday dinners. We found Sunrise Chicken & the man that cooks and runs it is so sweet and the chicken is the Best! It taste like something granny would cook for us as a kid. I am back home in Denham but I loved the time I lived in Houma the food, the people, the kindness! So now when I want a drive&date with my hubby we go there and go through the drive thru and get us each some chicken and go park by the Bayou and watch the gators In the water and on the bank or the friendly people fishing off the banks and hang out around town for some shopping. 28 yrs married and I can now say me& my hubby have a spot we love all of our own. Go try his food and take in some of his kind words. Enjoy the music from his radio playing some old school R&B. I always leave there to come back to Denham Springs feeling Full&Loved
