The service is always good, nice clean fast food restaurant. The spicy chicken sandwich is delicious but OMG the fries at this location are awful. I’ve given it multiple tries now and they are always brown and old. It’s like they take old leftover fries and refry them or something. I’ve had other Portillo’s locations and they are always fresh, golden, and delicious, but something about this location that they just can’t get it right. So disappointing and a waste of money.

Been a Portillo’s patron since my Chicago days…Surprise,Az this is disappointing. The “ Big Beef” sandwich used to give you the meat sweats..now it’s mainly bread. The beef & cheddar is a few sprinkles of shredded cheddar cheese- was so much better when it was the sauce. Unlike the Portillos I recall, this one is not busy- went at 5pm and was only 2 other guests.

This is a very clean and large restaurant. Ordering is easy either at the kiosk or with a person. They have some specials otherwise its a little pricey. Loved the Chicago dog and the Italian beef but the sausage did not have a great flavor. Overall its a good experience.

I’m not a fast foodie, but we wanted to try something new in the area. I liked the atmosphere, especially for families and those who like to go down memory lane. The food is fairly good, but it didn’t wow me. We had a burger and a beef sandwich.

I like the old fashion diner feel, and the burger with fries I got was pretty tasty. The chocolate cake was also really good. However it still didn’t make me feel good about the $18 it came to. Especially when my order was made wrong. My server was a bit rude, he told me getting a large meal was a $1 upcharge when it was $2, and after having to confirm with him 3 times that I didn’t want pickles on my burger, I still got pickles. Probably won’t find myself coming back anytime soon.

First time trying it out and it was good. I thought the hot dog would be bigger so that dog got gobbled up in about 3 bites. Fries were hot and fresh but the star was the chocolate cake. I was eating on it and almost forgot to take a picture.

Having come from Chicago, Portillo’s was always a staple. If you want great hotdogs go to Portillo’s. If you want a great beef sandwich go to Portillo’s.
I’ve visited every Portillo’s in the valley and this particular restaurant is by far the best of all of them.
The food is exactly what you might expect (perfectly made Chicago dogs and beef sandwiches) but the atmosphere isn’t as chaotic and is more relaxed than some of the others. It is less fake, forced and touristy than other Portillo’s in the valley. Of all the locations this one comes the closest to the way that a Chicago Portillo’s used to feel.

Never had this chain before and I can tell you it was delicious. Perfect blend of fast food and restaurant. The food was fresh and I left feeling perfect. Not too fat, but definitely not hungry. Plenty of sit down areas to hang out with the family.
