This place is a hole in the wall but the tacos are one of the best tacos I’ve had in Virginia. It’s a bar so expect the the loud music. The salsas are flavorful. The staff is very attentive.

Food was good, their al pastor is the best I’ve had on the east coast, and their Aguas frescas were really good.
Just a warning the place is a hole in the wall and the atmosphere is not your typical “las palmas” vibe, so if you are looking for that generic mexican restaurant feel look elsewhere. Also the staff when I was there did not speak English, but I got by with the very basic Spanish I know. I will agree with other comments stating the music was a little too loud.

This place is a true hole in the wall…you’ll drive by it and not know it. It is one of those places that is a neighborhood place cause everybody knows everybody but that’s okay. The staff went out of their way to be kind and assist me with some translation to what I wanted. This place has mamasita in the kitchen….truly! This place is what you would find in a Mexican neighborhood. This is NOT like a chain or any standard place you go to. Food is great….real….nothing but authenticity! This place may be a culture shock when you walk in if you’re not used to that environment….but you a WELCOME “In their home”….that’s the best way I can put it. Just go and order something, there won’t be a disappointment. I had carne asada tacos and they were as tender as you could get, lots of flavor, 4 to an order, and for the price I couldn’t beat it. Beer is cash only! Food can be paid with a card….I still carry cash some no problem for me. Also ask for their homemade hot sauce and green sauce, so worth it!

This place really surprised me I thought it was gonna be bad. However as soon as I got my food I couldn’t put it down. This place isn’t beautiful to look at but the food is like street tacos from Mexico. Tacos are about $3 a piece and are ready quickly ready. they do have menudo and caldo de rez that I haven’t tried yet. Please give this place a shot you will not be disappointed

Beer is cold. They have a small yet surprisingly variety of Mexican beer. I gave this place a 1 because the food is poor. The lengua is almost flavorless, pastor was dry and tasteless. The environment feels like Mexico but that is about it.

I’m from California and this place, by far, has the closest taste of home. Street tacos are the best but you won’t find any of those here posted up. This place has it. The horchata is highly recommended.

It was exactly what I was hoping it was. A very low key joint with cold beverages and great beef tacos. Keep in mind that they may not have what you want at the moment (E.G., chicken for chicken tacos), but they will have something for you and you won’t be disappointed. I will return.
