First thing first, I am a Vietnamese American. When we came in this place and were greeted by the owner/cook. Guess what, he is from Guatemala! We ordered Bun Bo Hue and Pho and did not keep our hope high. To our surprise, the food was on point. Not the best but defininity it was really good. Way to go Eric!!!

Stopped for lunch and was delighted by the flavor profiles. We thoroughly enjoyed the Asada Quesadillas and Chicken Chimichanga. The hot salsa has great flavor but needed to be spicier. Oddly, we didn’t get chips and salsa. We’ll be returning for the birria tacos.

Decided to check out Nanas today as I love to support local establishments. I was really hoping to love this place but I just can’t. I’m stuck between 3 and 4 stars but we’ll go with 4. We went for a late lunch (1:00 or so) and they weren’t too busy at all. Our waitress was friendly, and prompt. The establishment seemed to be clean from what I saw, and the price point was good… $37 for my wife, our son, and myself. My wife ordered the steak burrito and I ordered the Nanas Platter (4 different tacos). My wife’s burrito was good (nothing special but good) with all the flavors combined. However the steak alone was pretty bland. My taco platter was supposed to be 1 of each Al Pastor, Mahi, Carne Asada, and Lengua (Beef Tongue). They were out of Lengua so they substituted it for Barria. Although I was looking forward to trying the Lengua, I was okay with the substitution however I feel they should ask the customer first if this substitution is okay. All 4 tacos were good (but again, just good, nothing special). Being people who LOVE food, I don’t think we’ll be back. Only because I really want to love what I’m eating and this just wasn’t it. Don’t let my review deter you though…definitely check them out and decide for yourself; you may love it! And after typing all this, I still find myself wanting to lower to 3 stars, but we’ll let them keep the 4.

They just opened last month (Feb ’24) and I wish they opened earlier! Had the Birria Tacos and Quesadilla and both were . Server was also very friendly and took care of my order very quickly when I walked in towards closing time.

Honestly the most authentic and best tacos in the area. Nanas is so good and we will be returning. We got the birria tacos and could not have been more impressed.

Went for lunch and was blown away! Had the Al Pastor tacos and they were delicious. The homemade chips and salsa was delicious as well. The service was fast and polite. The staff was kind to my toddler as well. Men’s Restroom was very clean. I would give more stars if it was possible, 10/10 recommend!!!

Had the chorizo and camden tacos. Fresh and delicious. Our server was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere is bright, warm, and well lit due to large windows. One critique is that the table was sticky. Everything else was great! Try it for yourself.

Been here twice. First time was alright. Food tasted good overall, but the portions were incredibly small. Came a second time and their menu was reduced, apparently, now not including their entire burrito menu.

I can’t understate how small their portions are though. Also, the food comes with no sides. So you pay $13 for four tacos that aren’t that filling and don’t come with any sides. If you get a menu item like a quesadilla, you get a 2 oz cup of guacamole and sour cream. No chips and salsa served.

I’m all for supporting upstarting local places but I feel like the pay to product ratio is a bit skewed.

That said, the food tastes good. Just portions aren’t filling and you have to get two entrée’s in order to fill up.

My family and I wanted to try this place out so we went during dinner. The place was packed a little bit but we were seated fairly quick. It did take a while to get drinks and refills but that’s to be expected during the dinner rush. I ordered the Birria tacos and didn’t think they had much flavor compared to other Birria that I’ve had. My husband enjoyed his meal but was still hungry afterwards. Portions are small compared to other restaurants in the area that offer similar cuisine. It was good but not enough to wow us to make this our new spot.
