The AirBoss Burger at Wings A-Blazin’ was incredible. Tons of flavor, cooked just right, and honestly one of the better burgers I’ve had in a while. The service was great too. We walked in right before closing and they were still welcoming and happy to serve us. That kind of service goes a long way. If you’re anywhere near Hermann, Missouri, this is a spot you should check out. Highly recommend. – – – – – – – – – – – – — -AIR BOSS BURGER – TWO CRASH BURGER PATTIES TOPPED WITH CHEDDAR CHEESE AND CHOPPED BACON COOKED IN HONEY BBQ SAUCE

Happen to visit on a “Thirsty Thursday”, when beer flights are $6. Also ordered the boneless “chicken lips” with fries lunch special for $10. Fun to try the many varieties of wing sauces, including not only buffalo, but teriyaki, honey mustard, Korean BBQ, and garlic-parmesan.

Parking isn’t plentiful, but if you’re staying in town it’s a fairly convenient walk. No dedicated motorcycle parking. There’s a ramp to the door that might be ADA compliant. Expect the place to be packed and loud. Not a lot of soft surfaces to absorb sound.
The restroom I used was pretty clean. The tables, chairs, and floors were also clean and not slippery. There was definitely an aviation theme here and you could tell the decorator has a sense of humor.
The boneless wings are called chicken lips here, which is kind of amusing. They were tender and juicy with good flavor. They have a variety of sauces and come with ranch or Bleu cheese. I liked the mild sauce best at it had the most typical buffalo flavor of the sauces. Adding just a little bit of extra hot to it kicked it up a notch and made my nose a bit runny. There is a roll of paper towels on the table, so no worries there. I also had the onion rings and corn salad. The corn salad was surprisingly good. The onion rings tasted exactly like I expected onion rings to taste, so that was also a good thing. I paired my mild boneless buffalo chicken lips with a glass of Adam Puchta Reifenstahler wine and it actually went pretty well together and seemed to temper the heat if the sauce a little bit without making it taste metallic or anything.
I opted to try the featured dessert, the fried cheesecake, with caramel topping and it was excellent. My wife definitely would’ve gone for the raspberry topping.
All in all, great place. The atmosphere was groovy, the food was excellent, the prices were reasonable.

Going to be honest, it wasn’t my favorite. The drink was good and our server was very nice. But the place had a weird smell and a weird vibe to it that we didn’t stay long. I find it odd that there’s no bone in wings on the menu. The pickle fries were odd but eddible

Typical bar type food and setup. Loved all the airplane decor like seats and wings in the building. The food was good. Pulled chicken but took about 20 minutes to arrive. The service was good but not over the top. The prices were great in my opinion. My wife and I both ate diner for under $20 (without tip). I would recommend for a fun local establishment but maybe choose a time when they aren’t as busy.

Sat at the bar, only a few guests in the entire place. No one else was at the bar and the bartender wasn’t busy at all. Even though he wasn’t busy at all it took a really long time after having empty glasses and plates before he asked if we wanted anything else.
Food was pretty decent, I was hoping the chicken in the Chicken and Waffles was going to be really good but it was just ok.

My buddy grew up in Hermann and brings us here any chance he gets. The prices are reasonable, the beer selection is good (needs a sour, though), and the food is amazing. There are planes hanging from the ceiling on each floor and the waiting area has old airplane seats. There is a nice inclosed outdoor seating area in the back that is great when the weather is nice. Huge fan of the place.

Glad to return to Wings A-Blazin’ after a few years away, and cool to see they’ve got the Turbulence Brewery operation going now. (Also Boulevard’s Tank 7 was also on tap! Check out Untappd for beer selection, and it’s Hermann, so of course there’s local wine as well.) Very convenient to order from the table using the online ordering system (earlier to see all the options and select what you want), and classic counter service is still available too. The catfish and chicken “lips” (boneless wings) basket were nicely cooked, and reports from our companions were that the penne pasta was salty but good and very filling. Side salad is certainly less filling than fries, but a nice substitute if you’re looking for something a little lighter. We visited during a semi-busy Saturday afternoon during a big local event that had the street closed down, locals perched on seats outside. Tables can easily accommodate small-to-medium groups, and it’s a fun airplane-themed space to wander around for all ages. I look forward to returning again!

The 5 stars are based on my first visit, not my second. My first visit was for lunch on a Sunday. Our server was fantastic and he made beer suggestions for us, and suggested menu items based on what we wanted. We ended up getting fried pickles which were fantastic, fries, and the boneless wing sampler (pictured) which was also delicious. He explained all the hot sauces to us and was very friendly. It was a great experience and I was excited to come back even though I live about 90 minutes away. My second visit – which I would give 2 stars, but isn’t representative of the restaurant – I think we had a new server. They were busy on a Friday night, but she brought us cheese fries when we ordered regular fries, then didn’t bring us the regular fries until we were done eating, which was a half order, and then she charged us for both of them (which she did credit). The person I was eating with ordered 10 wings, she only brought him 7, and then when we pointed this out she said that they only offer them in an order of 7. Why didn’t she say that when he ordered 10? Which isn’t true anyway, because he ALWAYS orders 10 wings when he comes here. We left annoyed, but the food was still good. I will definitely be back but hopefully that server improves. I’m still leaving five stars because when this place is on, they are amazing, and I don’t think this restaurant should be missed by anyone.

This used to be one of the places to go in Hermann. The place was always packed. Now, they’re serving chicken nuggets with sauces. They’re just going through the motions. How do you call yourselves wings a blazin’ and not serve real wings? Disappointed.
