I had gotten out of work earlier this evening, absolutely exhausted from making food all day, but also absolutely famished. The last thing I wanted to do was make more food at home, so when my wife said “We should get pizza for dinner”, I was ecstatic! We deliberated where to go for about 30 seconds while driving around trash picking in Ferndale and then remembered that, hey, neither of us can remember the last time we got Pizza Hut, we loved it as kids, let’s get Pizza Hut again!
I should have been thrown off by the fact that when I walked in the door less than 15 minutes after ordering, my dinner was already sitting in the warmer, waiting for me. But, you know what, we all make mistakes. And mine, friends, begun when I hit “Place order” on the website.
The main truly impressive thing was than, between when I placed the order and when I walked in my front door, not even 25 minutes had passed, yet the pizza itself was room temperature, with the cheese presented in such a manner implying that it had been sitting out for several hours. As a whole, it was just impressively underdone, almost like the inside of a dinner roll that had been ripped in half and dropped in a glass of water.
Luckily, my home oven was still hot, as my wife had just made cookies, so we set it back up to 450° and put it back in for another 12 minutes, on a preheated tray. Somehow, this made literally no difference. It was hot now, but it was still underdone. Unfortunately, reheating it also killed any flavor, and I was now facing something more on par with the foam filling of a jail cell pillow.
I ultimately wound up scraping off the cheese and toppings and eating just the crust (doused in hot sauce) until I was no longer hungry, then setting the rest of it outside for stray raccoons. This also backfired; when I went outside again an hour later, there was a second Pizza Hut pizza outside. It truly felt like the raccoons were tormenting me.
I don’t think I’ll order Pizza Hut again.

Thee worst experience I’ve ever had at a pizza hut! Was given the wrong order completely! Everytime I go in there, the old lady at the counter never smiles or seems like she had a good day! Now she’s gotta make everyone else feel as miserable as she looks! I will never go back to this location!

I should have read and listened to the reviews for this location. I tried to give this location a chance but sadly they have no quality control and no drivers for delivery.
This is the second time I’ve ordered for delivery and it’s come through third-party (DoorDash). If I wanted to use a third-party, I would’ve done it myself. I’ve ordered the my hut box twice now and it’s always delivered with sauce completely covering the personal pan pizza and sauce all over the box. I thought it was the delivery driver but it’s also happened when I picked up the order myself.
They don’t have good quality control and really don’t care what they’re serving. I ordered a large pepperoni with extra sauce, and paid extra for original pan… this is what I received, the hand tossed version barely cut through. It’s a small thing but when you continuously get the small things wrong, it gets annoying.

The store was extremely busy so I understand an overworked staff. However they should take some care in to the quality of food they produce. I ordered online and the estimated time was 10-20 minutes, I showed up on time and the store was overcrowded with customers. My turn came and I was told it would be a 20 minute wait. 30 minutes later I asked about my food, I was told it would be right up. They gave me my food and I went on my way. Got home and the pizzas were lukewarm and the crusts were burnt, the cinnamon rolls were burnt and the pasta looked over cooked, burnt and dried out. Went back to the store and showed them the food, I said “I know you are busy so if you don’t want to remake this I will just take a refund and go elsewhere, I understand that you all are overwhelmed.” He said they would remake. I stood for another 25 minutes and they brought me the food. I opened 2 boxes and they looked better than the first so I went home. Upon getting home the other pizza I didn’t check was burnt again, and the cinnamon rolls too. The pasta just looks unappetizing either way I guess because it wasn’t burnt but got thrown away. I think maybe the owners should check the oven to see if there is something wrong as to why things are burning so much and also maybe turn off online orders or doordash when they are so busy because these workers are overworked and sending out bad food. Doubt I’ll return to that location again

I order the big dinner box, plus an extra order of bread sticks from this store. Paid the $33.64 that i was charged for this mess (pictured below), and was on my way! Needless to say we had to throw it away. I can’t imagine anyone boxing this order up for human consumption, let alone letting it go out the door! Never again will I spend my hard earned money at this pizza hut. If upper management cares at all of what goes out the door, I would recommend retraining these people on how food preparations! Anyways $33.64 was wasted! Thanks!

Ha! Decided to give it another go. What a mistake! I’m lowering my 2 stars to 1. Pizza took 40 minutes past time they texted they were on their way. Called twice got a call center in India, never spoke to the store. After another 20 minutes, Pizza shows up. Undercooked and cold. Unbelievable. Don’t bother, so many local places with way better Pizza. Total fail on Pizza Hut. Never again.
Haven’t had Pizza Hut in a long time, but our son wanted to try it. Now I remember why it has been so long. Breadsticks came burnt. Had a pan pizza that totally lacked in flavor. They do get points for the fresh mushrooms, but that is about the only good thing I have to say. Will definitely stick with Green Lantern, Cottage Inn and Hungry Howies.
