Service was great we made reservations on Valentine’s Day and our table was ready right away waitress was helpful and polite and food was really good very cozy atmosphere loved the Italy theme.

We had a half hour for dinner before heading to a scheduled appointment. Jose Z was an AMAZING server — kindly acknowledging our need, serving our food promptly, and always asking if we needed anything. Our meals were delicious — the baked onion soup and scrod dejonghe were favorites — and a 10% reduction in our bill for paying in cash was a huge added benefit. Would definitely go back for the service and for the food!

My boyfriend took me out to Mangia Mangia because he swore it was the best pasta ever. His family and friends all agreed, so I was excited to try it. The ambience was cute, very old-school, early-2000s Italian vibes. The appetizer was phenomenal: we ordered calamari, he had the onion soup, and I had the broccoli soup, and everything tasted amazing.
But then the entrée came. I ordered the vodka pasta with gnocchi pasta, and at first I thought maybe it was just me… but after reading reviews, I realized I wasn’t wrong. The pasta didn’t even taste like pasta. It was super gooey, in huge sticky chunks, and honestly pretty terrible. It had no flavor at all. My boyfriend understood completely he said the restaurant has changed a lot under the new management.
What made it even worse is that for just the two of us, with the tip, the bill came out to almost $100. With those prices, the quality just wasn’t worth it at all.

I liked the cozy italian feel of the place, the service was also really good. The food was OK, the bread that came to the table wasnt fresh so it was hard/dry. The calamari was well seasoned but tasted a bit fishier than normal, the fried ravioli needed more flavor inside and out. I was glad they were able to give me a alfredo version of the chicken parmesan but it didnt have enough sauce at all. The extra sauce i ended up ordering broke, as in the fats were separating. It also didnt have much flavor. Overall the food was OK, nothing to recommend but not bad enough to say it was nasty.

Gorgeous Christmas tree! Our family of 8 had a wonderful NYE’S Eve dinner here! The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was so cozy and warm. We definitely enjoyed our food and drinks and the complimentary champagne was a beautiful gesture! Thanks so much Mangia, Mangia!

French onion soup, friend zucchini, calamari, bread and butter, service were all a 10/10. Some of the other soups at our table didn’t look so appetizing. Ordered pork chop vesuvio. Sauce and potatoes were good ! The pork chops were dry.

I’ve been coming to Mangia Mangia for about 2 years and the food is always great. I love their blackened chicken salad. This year I catered an Italian salad for the holidays and it was so so good. Will be back soon for more. Shout out to both Alex’s behind the counter. They are always friendly and willing to help. Alex( young lady) brought out the salad to my car because I had the kiddos with me. They’re awesome! Thank you again! Happy holidays!

We order Mangia Mangia for team lunches every so often and it NEVER FAILS. If you’re in the area, stop and eat inside because their bread and olive oil situation is the best way to begin a meal. The amount of gluten-free options are amazing (I was told my colleague) and out of the 12 meals we ordered, not one person was disappointed. Excited to visit again in the near future!

Found through Google maps. Everything was wonderful. Stuffed Veal Mushrooms were great. I had Angel hair pasta, spinach and shrimp. Very large serving, ate half and had rest for breakfast. It was so good I didn’t want to wait until lunch. When in Chicago area we will return.

Stopped by here after passing it so many times and will definitely be back! The French onion soup was delicious! The steak I ordered was over done and not my favorite. Our server Nickie was so nice, very knowledgeable, and spent time answering our menu questions. The vibe inside was nice, quiet, cozy. A great stop if your looking for a feel good Italian restaurant.
