Everything was excellently prepared and served. The food is fantastic. This trip I had the pork ribs in sauce and chofan (chicken fried rice) and an amazing avocado salad! My friend had fried chicken and chofan. We also bought their shrimp and octopus cold salad. Delicious! The cleanest! The friendliest!

Pass this on my way home from work everyday and finally stopped in for lunch! We did take out, tried beans and rice with stewed pork, fried rice with stewed chicken, sea food salad, empanadas. Seafood salad was good but to expensive and did not match the prices on the menu. Empanadas would have been better if we ate there(we did takeout), The platters were a very large portion and reasonably priced in my opinion. Will go again to try the oxtails and goat…only on Tuesdays and Wednesday I think they said.overall it was yummy:-). I forgot to take a pic of it platted!

The food was ok but priced too high. I went there because my kids like their cheese empanadillas. I got a small yellow rice with 1 piece of stewed chicken ($10) and a white rice with 1 piece friend chicken ($8). i was disappointed in the portions of the food and the price of it. They didnt have menus with their prices posted. I came a different time and dont remember them charging me this much. I want to support but can get it cheaper somewhere else or bigger portions for that price.

The food was good, and the portions were healthy. You ordered your food at the counter area where the food is laid out buffet style. There is a small area if you want to eat in. And there is a high chair area that looks directly outside. It was 4 adults, and we spent $95 for our meal. This is a relatively new place, but I found the price on the higher side than other places with a similar setup.

We had very strange experience here this morning. The hours on Google said they were open, the sign on the door said it was open, and the woman inside told us in Spanish they were open, but they certainly DID NOT seem ready to serve customers. No one in the building spoke English so my husband had to give his order to someone on an employee’s cell phone. We just wanted to grab something quickly to go, I don’t think that was communicated. We stood, waiting awkwardly, to see if we were ever getting food or not. It was weird. We talked about just leaving several times. When food was finally served it was tasty, but my husband had to eat it quickly since we never wanted to dine in anyway. They really need to make sure an English speaker is working the front of house during open hours. Their customer base isn’t going to be people that already cook Caribbean food at home, it will be people that want to try something different and will most likely not speak Spanish. Also, if they weren’t ready to serve us then why did they say they were open? It seemed like the staff was still doing their food prep and setup. After this experience we will not be returning.

The young ladies were the sweetest, so welcoming. We talked about me relocating from NY and missing the food there. They were so kind. The food is delicious! Their empanadas are full. Their arroz y gandules and oxtails were amazing. They even made mofongo… I have the hardest time finding it and let alone let it be good. I will be going back.

I’ve given this place more than one chance, and I’m officially done.
The first time, I ordered pernil , they upcharged me, then gave me fried pork instead. It was extremely dry, tasted old, and wasn’t even what I ordered. If they couldn’t make the pernil, they should’ve just canceled the order instead of sending something I didn’t want and charging extra for it. I threw the whole platter away.
Then I decided to try again, and this time I got nothing but bean juice with no damn beans. That was the last straw. Two bad experiences in a row, I’m done giving this place any business. Ridiculous.

Everytime I order the chowfan its never available. Either it isn’t ready or sold out one day I will get lucky lol. That being said the food is delicious always hot and alot of food. Great price for the amount of food and great food.

The priced I paid for the food definitely not worth it. Also was way over charged for 2 meals and 3 empanadas and the portions were not worth the price. Would not be going back !
