I ordered the club sandwich and my husband ordered the Cuban. The person taking the order asked if I wanted my bread toasted and I said yes. The sandwich was ice cold including the bread. They must toast the bread ahead of time and set it aside. I thought I was getting a hot or at least semi warm sandwich so I was pretty disappointed. The bread was really crispy and the sandwich was difficult to eat. If I go again I’ll get something else. My husband said the Cuban was very good and his sandwich was hot. I will say the tomatoes and lettuce seemed very fresh. I thought it was a little expensive considering it doesn’t come with chips or anything.

I’ll go back in the future. Stop in for a tasty lunch and delicious looking desserts tet are made on site.

Very Nice spot for a little lunch date. I didn’t expect the sandwiches to be so big but I’m glad because all you need is a sandwich to go! If I would’ve bought a drink, pasta and chips I wouldn’t have been able to eat it all at once! So come extra hungry…. Or save some for lunch the next day

Carolina Hills Sandwich Shop is such a lovely local business. They weren’t making sandwiches in the evening when we were there, but we did get to have some Racie’s Italian ice and it was delicious. A small came with two scoops, so we got to try peach, piña colada, lemon, and strawberry. Our favorite was definitely the lemon. We will be back for sandwiches soon!

Food was really good! I got the soup of the day (baked potato) and my husband got the Reuben. My soup was delicious and served nice and warm. My husbands only complaint was that his side salad was served with wonton strips instead of croutons but he just took them off and made it work. This is a great addition to downtown NA and we will be back!

Jenny always puts so much care into everything she does, and it shows here too!

My friend and I had a wonderful lunch at Carolina Hills Sandwich & Sweet Shop.
It’s a charming little restaurant in downtown North Augusta. It has all the charm of home – because it once was a home! It is clean, with a lovely bright atmosphere. Service is great.
The food was fresh and delicious with prices that are very affordable.
Chicken salad on a croissant with chicken and rice soup were freshly made and so very good.
This is a restaurant to be proud of North Augusta!

If you’re in the area I highly recommend this place for a great lunch! We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and how big their portions are! The customer service was fantastic as well. North Augusta needed a good sandwich shop.

Serving simple sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Nothing that I would call a big harty meal eatery. But what they do offer is good tasty small portions, more suitable for a woman’s place to enjoy.
Sorry, but I like big monster size sandwiches that can fill a big appetite. My daughter and granddaughter really enjoyed their selections and said that they would definitely come back.
