This restaurant is PHENOMENAL! I have ordered take out/delivery as well as dined in. Every experience I’ve had from this establishment is wonderful. I had decided to go here for my birthday, as well as, took my father here for his…He absolutely LOVED it as well. I had a couple of friends who were a bit skeptical regarding this cuisine, but even they enjoyed and loved it. It by far the BEST I’ve ever had and I HIGHLY recommend. It is authentic in every way, always fresh, the staff is pleasant, the mango lassi and cocktails are delicious, and their recommendations are always fantastic.

I will happily drive an hour for this food—and that alone should say everything. This is, without question, the best Indian restaurant on Long Island. From the moment you walk in, the experience feels thoughtful and genuine. The interior is beautiful, warm, and inviting, but what truly sets this place apart is the ownership and staff. They are incredibly personable and often make their rounds to check in, offer recommendations, and ensure every table is enjoying their meal. When we asked for suggestions, they were spot on.

The food itself is exceptional. The onion bhaji is perfectly crisp and flavorful, the tandoori chicken is tender and expertly spiced, and the chicken korma is rich, creamy, and deeply satisfying. The goat curry is outstanding—robust, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. And the chili cheese naan? Absolutely unreal. We shamelessly scrape every last drop of korma sauce from the bowl with it, and I have zero regrets.

Service has been consistently excellent every single visit—attentive without being intrusive, genuinely warm, and professional. Everything about this place feels authentic, from the flavors to the hospitality.

I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know who enjoys Indian food. If you’re even remotely a fan of the cuisine, this is a must-visit. Worth every mile of the drive.

The food was very fresh and homemade. Everything from the naan to the samosas was delicious and unique. I have allergies and they easily accommodated due to their making everything from scratch. The nice fireplace came in handy on a cold snowy night.

In this restaurant, it was my second time and I had a great time here.
My friend said their mango lassie was outstanding. He really liked it and I liked it too. It was so refreshing, and the texture of that smoothie was just awesome. Literally, the best one in town I believe.
Their buffet was great. All the items which was there were all delicious.
Service was great too!
Will certainly come back:)

This restaurant was recommended and is truly a gem! The staff is very attentive and Sonja, the manager was really lovely. I opted for the brunch which was truly fabulous. The tomato soup was not too spicy and freshly prepared. The bread was also scrumptious! I don’t eat meat and this was an excellent choice because of the variety of authentic dishes they offer. For dessert, a frozen ice cream type cake was prepared for me that was made with roses. It was absolutely divine! I love this restaurant and will definitely come back the next time I head out east!

New Year’s Eve at Saaz was a disaster. We left after waiting an hour and 20 mins for main course. Waiters were very apologetic, it was obviously a failure of the kitchen. Strangely food for delivery was flying out of the door. Saaz…. You need to choose between take out and dine in as you obviously can’t do both. I won’t be back for a while

Fantastic food! Love all the gluten free options! The service was good as well. Highly recommend this place! It was quiet probably because we were having a late lunch (2pm).

Interesting bad experience.
It is a clean place with lovely decor. The decor does not compensate for sub par food and service.

Buffet was a joke. Not a lot of options at all. Whatever was there, ‘looked’ superb. But all dishes were at room temperature and taste was off.

We also ordered a la carte which was better but not what I’d expect in NY.

They did give a side of butter upon our request which was nice.

When I brought the cold buffet to their attention they had no apology, came back to tell us that they started new burners. I asked them how long would it take for food to get hot-they said 5 minutes. I waited 15 minutes, but food had barely changed temperature. Cold buffet is just not done in Indian food. Unacceptable.

High price, nice decor, bad food, poor service.

All the dishes Chicken tikka masala , Malai kofta and dal makhni was taste good , all the spices had balance and food was yummy. Service was quick , staff is courteous and welcoming. definitely will go back again.
