One of my friends recommended this place to me! The place is takeout/delivery ONLY, so you have the options to order online or onsite. I ordered the Beef Pad See Ew, Ped Kapow Prod (crispy seasoned duck), and Shrimp Tom Yum Soup. Since my order was above $20, I got a free Thai Tea Limeade.
The Beef Pad See Ew was really good and did not disappoint! Well-seasoned and spiced, the noodles were perfectly cooked and chewy, and the beef was tender and flavorful. Definitely a go to order if you don’t know what to get and want play the safe side, but still want something traditionally Thai.
I wanted to try something new and also ordered the Ped Kapow Prod after seeing a delicious pic of it on Yelp. I LOVED IT! Has a subtle spicy kick to it, and I loved the seasoning and sauciness to it. The duck was soft and tender. It kind of reminds of General Tso’s chicken from Chinese restaurants but better 🙂 This is a new favorite and would definitely order this again.
The Shrimp Tom Yum Soup was also good. The broth was THE SPOTLIGHT for sure! I definitely wish there was more shrimp though. and the Thai Tea Limeade was so good and refreshing, the perfect partner to enjoy your Thai cuisine meal.
For sure, Mali Thai Cuisine is one of the better Thai restaurants in the area 🙂

First time visit here~
Lunch price is good, but taste wise 2% short on something and I figured that, I am so used to strong Thai fish sauce and Basil taste… this place is less of those strong taste. If you dont like those strong taste~ this place is perfect for you~

Happened to stumble upon this place and was not disappointed.
The restaurant is small, but clean nicely decorated. Wait staff was extremely attentive and friendly. We had all three courses…Appetizer, dinner, and dessert and each one was better than the last.
I would highly recommend this to anyone. Planning on making this our Thai ‘spot!’

Saw this place numerous times near my gym and decided to check it out. Looked pretty suspect from the outside but was pleasantly surprised. Nice decor and food is authentic. The lunch spring roll and salad are excellent. Tried several entrees from pad thai to rice dishes which were all good. Only negative is the smell sometimes (smells like old sewage water). Fix that and almost perfection.

First time getting delivery from them, not impressed. Food quality was suspect for sure. Chicken Pad Thai was void of chicken and many other things I would expect to see in a Pad Thai. It was sad. I could go into greater detail about the food but it’s not worth it. They also partner with Door Dash to deliver which was not disclosed. I don’t care for third party food handlers. And for these reasons, I’m out.

We have been coming to Mali Thai for the past couple of years. We have gotten to personally know the owner and he is a great person and will personally take care of you- he is a small business owner who takes great pride in his restaurant. 🙂 The food is always of consistent high quality and tastes great. The selection is traditional Thai, the preparation is excellent, the presentation is very good and there is a good enough selection and variety in order to satisfy every part of your palate.

Just not a good fit with Thai that I’m used to and I think it’s expensive compared to Jacksonville, FL Prices.
I like the wide noodles. The only noodle meal they have that I like comes with thin noodles only. So I looked to the curry plates. The only curry plate they have with peanut sauce is with broccoli. I hate broccoli. So I talked to wait staff and manager. Manager is recommending against what I want to eat.
What? Sorry I thought it was my decision. We finally come to an agreement on substituting a wide noodle. So at least I was able to order a meal.
I ordered hot tea and there is no sweeteners brought along with it so I had to ask for that and wait for it. BTW, no free refills on soda or ANYTHING at this place. I actually started looking forward to walking across the parking lot to Wendy’s for dinner.

We are always happy to go in and be able to sit right down and be served. The Pad Thai is always great and the food is always fresh. They have good variety of mild to spicy dishes and the service is fast and efficient. The prices are excellent. The best priced restaurant that we have found in Ashburn for the quality and quantity of food.

Serene, orderly and inviting environment. Courteous, prompt and hospitable waitress. Thai iced tea (with coconut milk) was a very nice opening. The Pad See Ew with tofu was great, our host even offered a selection of spicy condiments during the meal which were exactly what I was hoping for. The fried ice cream for dessert was excellent. Fantastic experience, and I hope to visit again soon.
