I wanted to try a West Virginia Appalachian chili dog as I passed through on travel and found this restaurant. Boy was I impressed! It was a quieter Sunday afternoon, but they get busy weekday and Fri/Sat. Bartender waitress was very nice and respectful. Shared a lot of details of the restaurant and local area. Great vibe with a warm, rustic feeling. I was told live musics some nights on wood build outdoor stage on patio.

And, as far as the food, the Appalachian chili dog is my new favorite. Sweet, with a little bite from onion and mustard with cool slaw. Chili and slaw home made. And on a toasted English bun. Dogs were about $3 each. Total for 2 dogs and sweet potato fries only $10.60!!! Unbelievably affordable price.

Thank you for the great quality food and great atmosphere for my quick meal on my 8hr drive through the area. Well done!

We were visiting the New River Gorge and found this treasure of a restaurant to eat at.
Check out the menu… not your run of the mill food. I had the amazing UB40 burger with sautéd onions, feta cheese and a balsamic glaze. My boyfriend had the Hangover burger which was also delicious. Chef of the day Amber did an awesome job! They also have cabins and run the Cantrell family rafting. This a family owned business so try and support if you are driving along Hwy 19 in WV!

Beautiful little brewery nestled in Fayetteville. The food and drinks were all delicious and the service was awesome! We got there a few minutes after they opened and they weren’t ready so they brought us chips and queso on the house. Very nice little spot!

This place is so cute we had great expectations for a good lunch. Boy were we wrong. The facility is very nice and the service was very friendly, however it all ended when we were shown the menu. It was the worst menu we’ve ever seen. None of the very few items offered sounded good. We should have left then, but we unfortunately decided to stay and try something. My wife ordered a $5 dinner salad and buffalo wings and I ordered sweet potato nachos. The salad was made with last week’s lettuce and had the worst balsamic dressing. The wings were strange and had inedible hard bits with the worst sauce ever. The sweet potato nachos were overcooked and weird and missing the promised jalapenos.

This place has the distinction of serving us the worst lunch we’ve ever had and to top it off they changed us $9 for the $5 dinner salad. This very nice facility needs a new chef and manager. If you are in Fayetteville, go anywhere else for lunch.

We ate here on our way to Adventures at the Gorge and it was at an odd time 3:30pm. We were the only guest at the moment. Staff was friendly and helped us immediately. I got the Chicken Grinder and it was delicious! The sweet potato fries are unique and also tasty! My other half got the nachos and said they were perfect. Good Cold beer on Tap. We will definitely come back! Highly recommend!

Was a bit unsure of the place when we arrived however the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were immediately greeted at the door with the appropriate number of menus and asking if we’d like to sit inside or out; we opted for outside. Sat outside and the weather was fantastic. A nice mix of music playing on the outdoor speakers and the sound of rain bouncing off of the tin roof. Had a beer and the hangover burger. The food was a 10/10. A hidden gem. Definitely would eat here again.

We ended up here on a whim looking for a late dinner. We were so welcomed and Zeb talked to us all about whitewater rafting even though we had not booked through them (only because we didn’t know about them).
Food was absolutely fantastic!! Highly recommend. We will do a second day of rafting just to go with them because of the service!
Love supporting local.
