I don’t usually write reviews, but this sushi restaurant left such a lasting impression on me that I had to share. I think I’ll always remember eating here. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, with no long waits or issues getting a seat. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming—some even share personal stories and genuinely connect with their regulars.
The pricing is spot on and absolutely worth it. Special rolls range from $16-$20, but the portions of fish are so generous that every bite feels like a treat. I fell in love with each roll I tried. The food came out quickly, and I couldn’t have been happier with both the service and the quality.
This spot is perfect for any occasion—a date, a celebration, or just a casual outing. Despite the amazing experience, I noticed the restaurant isn’t too busy, and it breaks my heart because they truly deserve more customers. The workers are clearly passionate and hardworking, even though they seemed a bit tired—likely from doing their very best to make each visit special.
If you visit, please be sure to tip well. They absolutely deserve it for the care and effort they put into their service. I’ve tried over 50 different sushi restaurants, and this one easily stands out as one of my favorites.

Spicy tuna roll wasn’t spicy and had a fishy taste. Very disappointed since this was our Christmas Eve dinner. Overpriced. The hibachi fried rice was extremely dry and it was basically rice and soy sauce.

This place is top tier! They have amazing service, amazing sushi and amazing prices. I will be back 100%. The happy hour prices are absolutely unmatched match. The quality of the food is very fresh and the service is very fast. The service is also good. The staff is really friendly and they recognized my friend who I went with who has been there before and recommended it to me. I can’t wait to show this place to friends and family.

This place was great. Nice location near Centennial Lakes Park. After ice skating, we went here and tried different types of sushi. It was very tasty and fresh. The service was perfect, our waiter was very nice and attentive. The food presentation was nice. I’m definitely coming back.

We came with a small group of three and were seated right away. We started with some drinks, which arrived immediately. However, our order for three rolls of sushi didn’t come out until 30 minutes later. We watched as the same servers promptly delivered food to other tables, even those that were seated after us. I was patient at first, but when I noticed that people who arrived after us were being served before us—and some even left before us—I felt a bit disappointed. We also ordered two chicken teriyaki plates after our rolls, which arrived more quickly. The miso soup tasted very watered down, but maybe we got unlucky. I had high hopes since I was recommended this place for quick service and quality food. I would come back to try again, hoping I have a better experience next time!

Fresh sushi at reasonable prices.
With some of the more reasonable prices we’ve found for good quality sushi, nakamori offers a wide array of specialty rolls and other sushi, sashimi and hibachi options!
We loved everything we ordered. From the hibachi shrimp and fried rice, to our king lobster roll and vegetable gyoza. Everything was fresh and very flavorful.
The service was pretty slow unfortunately even though there weren’t many people in the restaurant but they were still friendly and helpful when they did come around.

The absolute worst Japanese food i have ever put in my mouth. Lettuce salad was brown around the edges. Hibachi scallops were completely tasteless and presented exactly as pictured in the photo. Hibachi steak and chicken were overcooked and tasteless as well. Fried rice was bland and udon was salty. We waited for 30 minutes (on top of the long wait time for the hibachi) for the sushi to arrive, then decided to leave. They tried to serve us the sushi at that point – apparently it had been sitting behind the counter this whole time. I had previously noticed other sushi orders sitting on the counter for a good 15-20 minutes before they were served.
Service matched the food. There was a wait to be seated, even though at least half the tables were unoccupied when we arrived. The person at the cash register ignored us and the other couple who was waiting for a table. An even longer wait for our orders to be taken – waitresses felt it was more important to put out menus on empty tables (which stayed empty for a good while). They did not bother to provide us with any eating utensils (i got them myself) or water refills.
I strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Fast and friendly service. Received our food quick and very warm. The portion sizes are really good especially for the price. If you’re trying to look for a hibachi style cooked Japanese meal that is not in a huge venue, this would be your place. Would definitely come back again.

My sister doesn’t even like half of the places that I take her to. And she loved this. We kinda ordered alot cuz it was our first time, but i know what I want next time.
I loved their hibachi chicken. It’s the first ever i ate and didn’t feel the need to drink a cup of water bcz of how dry it was.
