Went in to have lunch with a co-worker during their first week open. Staff was very friendly and gladly answered my question about the menu and food! Menu seems pricey at first but after receiving my order of a loaded potato with a brisket on top and was surprised by how big the portion was. The meal tasted incredible (especially the brisket!) and I had enough leftover for another 3 meals.
Will definitely be eating here again soon!

Mike’s BBQ is fantastic. Great food and wonderful service. I had the 3 meat sampler and was only able to eat about half of it. . No problem it’s lunch for tomorrow. Two meals for the price of one. I then bought some of their pepperoni sticks. Amazingly Great to take to work to share with the guys. I definitely would recommend going to Mike’s. Give them a try and you won’t be disappointed.

The Brisket was good, not too fatty as it was trimmed properly before cooked.
The pulled pork was poor, it was dried out and had very little flavor.
Sausage was good flavor, it was not cooked properly. Its a natural casting that needed browned to get that “snap” instead of chewy exterior.
Ribs (sold out)
BBQ sauce was pretty good. Sweet and tangy.
Portions were good flavor. I loved the apple cole slaw. Huge portion of cornbread however, the sides were small.
Very little smoke flavor for a BBQ.
The price point was right on for an authentic BBQ, however the food taste like they used an oven and haven’t spent the time and effort of an authentic BBQ.
The pepperoni sticks are awesome.

Excellent barbecue food and BBQ sauce. The sides such as the beans and coleslaw are spectacular. If the corn bread were served warm it would be a 5 star restaurant in my humble opinion. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is fine for barbecue. This is one of my favorite places for take out. This weekend I barbecued some things not on Mike’s menu, then ordered some beans, coleslaw and chicken to go with it. Everyone loved it.

Great service, good food. Something different in this town, which we needed. Only thing I have to complain about is the cornbread. The first time i tried it it was warm and soooo good!! The next time i tried it it was cold and did not taste good. Kinda disappointed since I took my son and daughter in law to try it out. Coworkers have said the same. I will still eat here, but maybe just not order the cornbread or maybe ask for it fresh out of the oven. If it wasn’t for that then i would give 5 stars. 🙂

Just ate there for the first time. Drive from Ephrata. The pulled pork was amazing!!! Corn bread was moist and delicious!! The meat counter was neat and clean and yummy. We got the trail mix with cubes of different cheeses and meats. The only thing I would say disappointed me was there bathrooms weren’t working so we couldn’t eat there, we had to take it to go and eat in the car. But, that being said, it was worth it and we WILL be going back!!

Very friendly staff! Super clean and modern. Smells soooooo good when you get out of your car in the parking lot. We got the meat trio and shared it between 2 adults and 7 year old boy. Beer on tap was great! Wenatchee Brewery IPA yum! They even had Jones Winery wine (local to Quincy). We give it 2 thumbs up!

We’ve eaten here twice. The first time was a week or two after it opened. I love bbq and was really excited, we went on my birthday.
It was disappointing. The sides are small, the prices are high. We ordered a baked potato with brisket and it was given to us cold. I had to ask for it to be microwaved. We ordered the chicken, pulled pork, and brisket meals. The chicken was dried out. The brisket was soggy. The pulled pork was dry.
Tonight I bought two of the two meat samplers. Again, the pulled pork and chicken were dry. My husband said the pork was cold. The brisket was soggy. The chicken required A LOT of bbq sauce..and even then large chunks were given to the dogs. They’ll eat anything. The corn bread was dried out.
It feels like a cafeteria that relies on steam tables, microwaves, and warming ovens.
We only went again because we had been given a gift card and Mike’s was running a buy 1 meal, get 1 half off promotion.

I expected something special. None of the meat is smoked. If it is I couldn’t tell. $25 plate and my husband left still hungry. The chili was good. Cornbread very plain. No butter or honey offered. No crisp edges. It crumbled so much I couldn’t tell it was in my chili. Oh… Salt… I am not one to salt my food much, but I was salting it here. Lots of money for nothing. Prices would be fair if more interest in to flavor was put in to the food. Chicken was bland and dry too. Won’t go back.

I’ve been to many bbq restaurants all over the country and this place holds it’s own with any of them. Great brisket, and pulled pork. The sausage was very good also. If in the area again, I will definitely be back.
