Let me just say that my wife has been here before. But this a review about my first time experience. As we entered, there wasn’t that many people there. But I believe that was 100% because of the time we got there. It was right after any kind of lunch rush. As we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess. We asked if we could be seated in a booth. Which we didn’t think would be an issue, and we were correct. The waitress took our drink order and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. Since I haven’t been here before, I went with something I knew I liked from most other restaurants, the sour cream chicken enchiladas with rice and charro beans. When I visit a new to me Mexican restaurant, there are a couple things that I judge first. First and foremost, the salsa. The salsa was on point. Then the rice, like the salsa, on point as well. The beans, whether they are “refried” or charro, there has to be flavor. Some restaurant’s beans are so bland that I am done with one or two bites. These, these were very tasty. Now, the sour cream chicken enchiladas. Now I know that most sour cream sauce isn’t traditionally “Mexican”. More of a Tex-Mex with a European touch. Good sour cream sauce IMO is made with Mexican crema instead of traditional sour cream. I love it when restaurants add some chicken stock to add a little extra bit of chicken flavor to the sauce. This one didn’t really have that. It was a good sauce, but it wasn’t that sauce I have come to love. It was good, but I would probably try something different at the next visit. My wife got the chicken Monterey. It also came with charro beans and rice. She let me taste it and it was very delicious. My eight year is very picky about any Mexican food. So he went with the corn dog and fries. Not a lot of room for error there. We also had the yellow queso as I had heard from many the queso blanco was not as good as it could be. But the queso we got was very good. So at the end of the day, a return visit is in the cards. Were there a couple things I would change? Sure. But an easy fix would be to order something different. I recommend you to have a visit and decide for yourself.

Good place to go when you are craving Tex-Mex. It’s close to home. I had the chicken chimichanga & my husband had the shrimp enchiladas. The food was hot & fresh. Prices are good.

They served chips & salsa that was delicious… fresh chips too! We ordered beef enchiladas, and a draft beer.
The enchiladas and flavors were excellent, and the food was hot and fresh. We also ordered white queso, but it was terrible,
We did not receive the Beer! When we asked, the server said, “I forgot”! (Crickets)
We will try again.

Good food, and great service! Our server took good care of us while we ate, making sure we had full glasses and checking on us very often. Our party of four had pablano steak, guiso pork, shrimp enchiladas, and red enchiladas. I highly recommend the Guiso Pork it had a fantastic authentic flavor. The steak was excellent, especially with the sauce, although it came with a side of potatoes that were bland and greasy. Both enchilada plates, beans, and rice were about what you would expect. If you are interested in dessert, I would suggest the bread pudding. It’s not a bad spot for tex-mex food at a great price.

La Flor never disappoints!! We went there few times with different family members and we all love their food! Salsa is very fresh, chips are not oily and fresh. Most of the items on their menu are delicious but you must definitely try their spicy burrito with spicy salsa!! Too good!! Our kids love their Enchiladas also. Some of our family members are vegetarians and they love this place also as they have delicious options for them as well. BTW their service is excellent also. We’ll definitely recommend them to everyone and will definitely go back for some delicious food !!

Everything was amazing when we went here over the weekend. I was looking for somewhere new to try, read the reviews, and decided to give it a go. It surely did not disappoint! It has a nice atmosphere, the food was really delicious, the service was excellent and the place was clean. Their menu has a wide range of food, even hamburgers and pasta. Our waitress was really nice and very attentive to our table. I saw a couple of the other waitresses doing the same as well. Prices are about the normal going rate, nothing outrageous. Overall, this place was absolutely amazing! We have added LaFlor to our top 3 places to frequent

This is our go to Mexican restaurant. The staff are so friendly every time. They stop by enough but not too much. Their food is always good! I often get the Mini Mexicanas, which has 1 enchilada, beans and rice. My mom really likes the grilled avocado. My husband loves the beef enchiladas.

Best Mexican food in the city, and at fantastic price for the high quality. Lean meat cuts, fresh cheese, everything on their menu is delicious. We often get the taco salad, tacos, Plato verde (avocado stuffed with steak & chicken), and combo platter appetizer with tostadas, chicken-stuffed jalapeños, chicken taquitos, and steak quesadilla. I’ve also ordered large catered party trays for events, and they always impress with speed, flavor, quality of ingredients, thoughtfulness and generosity. As long as they’re open I’m only going to them for Mexican food.
