My wife loves sushi and here we were. It was rather quiet on a Sunday evening and we got our table right away. We ordered miso soup, oahu maki roll, lion king maki roll and spicy tuna maki roll. The fish and crab were fresh and the roll was superb. The soup was had this lovely umami flavor and was a big respite to my throat on a particularly chilly evening. The staff were attentive and quick. We highly recommend this place if you’re looking for sushi in the town.

Usually love this place and have great experiences there but today was just really off. It took a long time for a server to even come over and take our orders when we were one of three or four tables. My sister didn’t get her edamame for a long time so we asked and got “if you ordered it it should becoming” we thought this was pretty rude and still there was no edamame until we asked a second time after we got our main courses. A server also slammed soy sauce on the table which we asked for and walked away without saying anything. It felt weirdly aggressive and was just a huge bummer since I love this place.

I really liked their sushi the first time I had it; however their SERVICE has gone down hill. I have tried multiple times in the last week to stop in and order to go and each time they’ve denied to go orders because they were “too busy” but I was welcomed to wait to dine in. The way they responded the second day I came in to order to go; was so rude… and they weren’t even a half full house. Lack of Service has turned me off officially for this business.

Definitely one of the best sushi places I’ve visited in my life and plus the service is amazing and the prices too! Wow this was quite a delicious meal. We ordered the Unagi bento box, Seattle roll, Sushi Dragon, a Sapporo and green tea. The freshness of the rice immediately registers as artisan but the freshness of the fish brings a quality standard welcome to us here in Bellingham. The tempura batter and cookery was perfect as was the Seattle roll. Even the green tea had toasted rice added to bring fragrance and pleasure to a meal already so enjoyable.

Our first visit to Blue Fin Sushi! We looked up who had the best sushi in Bellingham and were not disappointed. This place is a bit of a hidden gem located in a small strip mall type building. The service was on point, kudos to the servers and sushi chefs here as the place was fairly busy, and they were on top of it. Our food was served quickly and fresh. The miso soup was hot, and the tea was very tasty. We had the calamari – very fresh and cooked perfectly. I love it when the calamari comes out with the tentacles. Soo tasty! We also had three rolls, the Spider Roll, Wild Thing, and the Super Tempura roll. All were very fresh and tasty. The fresh fish was melt in your mouth. If you have not been here yet, you need to try it out. It may just end up being your favorite sushi spot. It is our now!

This was our first time here. Worth the drive from Burlington! We ordered tempura veggies, gyoza, and a bunch of sushi rolls (Hot Night, Crazy Monkey, Oahu, Spicy Tuna, Bellingham, Dragon). Everything was amazing! And nothing was drowning in sauce like what so many sushi restaurants do. Super fresh, all the flavors were well balanced, and service was prompt. Not a huge dining room so plan for that.

Basic strip mall vibe but the sushi is outstanding! Very well cured fish, and fresh. Price point is spot on! Absolutely worth it! Some of the better quality selections. Ambiance is okay. Great place for a party of 4 or a seat at the sushi bar.

Got the chicken teriyaki benta box for pickup. Brought it home and wow! Packaging was nice and neat. Alot of food. My husband and I shared it. Definitely will get this again in the future.
