I’m impress. Food was delicious. Flavor and presentation was done well. Dipping sauce were on point. It gets busy quickly so come right when they open. We got seated quickly. Food came out fast. We finished our dinner within an hour.

Relaxed, friendly vibe. Great atmosphere. Great food. We tried a little bit of everything. Nothing disappointed. Everything was tasty. We had wine, beer and strawberry sake. The server was so nice and his recommendations were spot on. We highly recommend this place. So glad they are in the neighborhood. Worth every penny.

This place came highly recommended and it did not disappoint!

The wings were absolutely on point. The batter was perfectly crispy, and the sauces paired with them were amazing. Definitely a must try! The beef tacos exceeded my expectations packed with bold, bursting flavors in every bite. And the grilled squid? Easily my all-time favorite.

On top of the great food, the staff was friendly and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Excellent food and vibes all around. The atmosphere is intimate but very hip, cool, and vibey. The food is a fusion of Vietnamese and Latin, offering a burst of exciting flavors. If you like Asian cuisine of any kind, you will enjoy this – lots of good meat, pork, and fish options. A wide variety of drinks and sake make this place great for dining in, but you could easily grab take out from here and enjoy at home as well. The service is excellent with servers and hosts being super friendly. 10/10 would recommend and WILL be returning!!!

We went to ChelasX for the first time. It’s a pretty new restaurant, and I believe it’s owned by the previous Vietnamese restaurant owners who moved across the street (possibly Pho 126).

We ordered the wings and squid as appetizers. Both had great flavor, and the bone marrow was especially delicious. It came with crostini, and you could pair the marrow with uni and caviar. It was a really fun and unique combination—beautifully presented and full of flavor.

For our main dishes, we got the Vietnamese pork belly and the crepe plate. The pork belly was okay. It was cooked well, but it wasn’t my favorite. The skin wasn’t as crispy as I usually like, and the dish felt very heavy since there was a lot of meat and fat but not enough vegetables to balance it. By the end, it became a bit overwhelming, and we couldn’t finish it. I wish they had included more lettuce or fresh herbs to go with it.

The other main dish we tried was the “Churrasco” Wagyu steak with a fusion chimichurri. I loved this dish. The steak was cooked to medium-rare, exactly as I requested, and the doneness was perfect. The sauce was unique and paired beautifully with the beef. My only complaint is that it didn’t come with any carbs like bread or rice. The server mentioned we could order sides separately, but I think the dish would feel more complete if something was included. They could easily adjust the price and add a carb to make it more satisfying—similar to the bone marrow dish, which felt very well thought out and balanced.

Overall, it was a great first experience. The flavors and presentation were impressive, and I’m excited to go back and try more dishes.
