Looks like an entire family has gone after this business because they can’t keep their kids in line and expect the entire restaurant to put up with it. Ignore their reviews, I have been here dozens of times and seen no problems with kids and their families.

I had an incredible dining experience at Something Italian tonight! The food was exceptional, and the standout dish was the lamb shank—it was simply magnificent! The flavors were rich, and every bite was a delight. To top it all off, the desserts were fantastic, especially the panna cotta; it was the perfect way to end the meal. If you’re looking for top-notch Italian food, this place is a must-visit. I’m already looking forward to my next meal here!

Last night I dined at Something Italian with my family, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing.
We ordered bruschetta and a pizza to start, along with a bottle of red, planning to order mains as the night progressed. Before ordering, I specifically asked the waitress whether the pizzas were wood-fired, as that was important to us. I was told they were wood-fired pizzas.
However, when the pizza arrived, it was clearly made on a pre-made base and appeared to be cooked in a standard gas oven — not a traditional wood-fired oven as we were told. The pizza itself was average at best and not what we expected from a place advertising wood-fired pizza.
The bruschetta was half decent and probably the highlight of the meal.
We raised our concerns with the waitress, and she showed us what was clearly a gas oven while reconfirming it was a “woodfire pizza oven,” which was confusing and disappointing.
In the end, we decided not to order mains and finished our evening there feeling let down. Transparency is important when it comes to food, especially when customers are making decisions based on what they’re told.
I hope the restaurant takes this feedback constructively and improves both their communication and authenticity moving forward.

We ate at 2 Italian restaurants and both has 5 star reviews. The food served is not as good as Something Italian. Their calamari soft and we liked the spaghetti marinara with spicy n extra garlic, Veal scaloppini

This is a fantastic place to eat for real authentic Italian cuisine and atmosphere. The service is impeccable and the food is delicious. I would recommend this strongly to any food lover but particularly Italian food.

Went for lunch. Was so good returned for dinner. Everything we ordered was excellent. Gamberi pasta, Fish with vegetables, Nutella crepes, Tiramisu and Prawn pizza. Friendly, efficient staff. Will definitely return.

Hi, I was actually dining in the restaurant at the same time, so I wanted to share what I saw. The older lady did not tell you that your baby was “too loud.” She spoke politely and asked if your little one needed anything because the baby looked upset. It didn’t come across as rude or disrespectful from where I was sitting.
Sometimes things can feel different in the moment, but the interaction didn’t seem negative at all.
Also, the food was amazing and the staff were very kind during my visit.
Just wanted to share another perspective as someone who was there at the same time.

This place used to excite me a lot. They have to up their game or they will keep losing customers. Their calamari used to be very good. Now every time we order they barely give any, it used to be such a lot that it was impossible for one person to finish. Lack of armosphere, waitress crying the entire night, bullying amongst staff, noise environment, all you hear is people talking. Taking ages to serve food. Wil not be back for a long time. Such a shame. This place used to be so good.
