We discovered Zagara Gelato as the wonderful new addition to the Mazzaro’s Italian Market family in our latest visit. We make it a point to always go to Mazzaro’s whenever we are in St. Petersburg because frankly, nowhere else compares. We were warmly greeted by the owner and the gelatista and they made us feel so at home. Great and friendly service! The gelato was so delicious and we could confirm that it was freshly made. Perfetto! We highly recommend Zagara a must when you are craving gelato. We know we need to add this gelateria to our regular stops in St. Petersburg.

No exaggeration, the best gelato I’ve ever had. Amaretto was a spiritual experience and pistachio was so unique, could get a hint of the roasted pistachio used. Very fresh. I keep going back for more. Awesome spot.

The gelato is to die for! The fior di latte is heavenly, as well as the pistachio, blueberry cheesecake, spumoni, and Dubai chocolate flavors. Really, you can’t go wrong! The service is also friendly and welcoming. I try to bring my boyfriend and any visiting friends and family, because it’s worth it!

Just wow! The friendly staff helped me choose two flavors because they all looked so yummy. I sampled a few before making my final selection. Good thing I can come back often because I will! I brought my friend for her birthday and she also loved hers.
