A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent visit to your Captain D’s location. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and did not reflect a professional or sanitary environment. I noticed that the managers child was running around the store unsupervised, he was spitting on the floor and throwing cups. Such an unprofessional establishment.

Upon entering the establishment, I was immediately met with a strong odor resembling mildew or mold, which was very concerning. Additionally, there was visible food and trash on the floor, which made the restaurant appear unclean and poorly maintained.

When I approached the register, the cashier was on her cell phone and did not acknowledge me. After I was finally able to get her attention, she responded with an attitude and was noticeably rude while I was trying to decide on my order. As a customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, and that was not my experience during this visit.

I hope this matter will be addressed promptly, as cleanliness and customer service are essential to maintaining a positive reputation.

Something is severely wrong with this location. I asked for the 3-piece batter dipped fish meal, and they serve me this instead (looks, tastes, and smells like chicken)!!!

The workers all disputed it when I asked, so please avoid this location at all costs!!!

I visited this Captain ‘s for the first time this year and it was the most horrific experience I’ve had from eating out in a long time. The catfish and cod was all cooked in old grease or just reheated, the Mac and cheese was burnt, fish fried hard as crisp and customer service was terrible the young lady swept the floor as if we weren’t even sitting at the window waiting to be waited on and after 8 mins came over sat on the ledge of the counter near the window and very rudely took my order.she was dressed in street attire, and continued to sweep the floor then take the trash out of the garbage while taking my order. I personally will never go back to this place. If people don’t want to work they need to stay home not work in public restaurants with bad attitudes and serving people food they wouldn’t eat themselves. I’m just saying think twice before ordering anything here. It’s terrible.

Manger on duty rushed me to take my order. Cut me off so i could not finish ordering my food. Told me she didn’t care she is the manager. When I asked her name she told me to go to the website and find out! She looks young and unprofessional. She had the nerve to tell me to have a blessed
Day after she refused to take my order. It’s always something at this location. Do u allow the managers to behave this way? To speak to customers any kind of way? She seemed to now care about your establishment. Why is she the manager?

They had a closing time of 6pm posted. We arrived at 5:48p. The dining room door was locked and none of the workers made eye contact as we stood there confused. We proceeded to go through the drive through where there were 4 cars and the lady takes forever to get on the speaker and says they are out of batter and fish…. How?

If I could’ve given a zero, I would’ve. The guy taking my order was very polite but very slow, and the young lady was so rude and had the ordasity to go and get a blanket from the back and come in the dining area and lay down on the seat as if she was in a bed. She was a manager at that. Most of these people don’t want to work, just the check and it’s showing in service, and the food. The food price is ridiculously high and the food is horrible and not worth a dime.The Owners need to frequent their businesses and see what’s really going on. This was unacceptable
