I haven’t been disappointed since ordering food from here. The food is tasty and the staff is kind. This spot is my go to on the weekends.

Maxim Garden is and my go to Chinese delivery spot.
Consistently delicious, always ahead of time on deliveries, and well priced.

My food is always ready within 30 minutes and still hot when I eat it. The dumplings were delicious and I liked that they stuffed it with lots of filling, and the General Tso’s Chicken had great flavor. I’ve eaten here often the last few months and it’s always been consistently good. Love it and will continue coming here for takeout!

Not the cleanest, but I love the honey bbq wings, and there food is tasteful. All in all its a decent spot to eat.
Update : This place has only gotten busier and busier since last. It’s still great food but the wait is crazy . It’s only cash too, so be prepared.

Ordered the General Taos chicken and I immediately spat it out. It almost had the aroma of a dead mouse or something; like something was rotting. My friend had an eggroll and it was the same thing; tasted like something died on it. NYC Health department needs to do a surprise inspection on this place ASAP.

This place was recommended by my colleague. I now question their judgement. I ordered online for a specific time. I get there and the food is not even made. I asked for a free soda because I ordered a certain amount of food. They said “no” because I ordered online. REALLY?
They were so rude. The place is cold like outside and it is filthy. Where is the food department when you need it? Forget about delivery. That’s a bigger hassle which is why I wanted to pick it up.
Beware.

Quality went down horribly. Everything in the menu changed.
My usual orders were chicken with broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, and shrimp chow mei fun and all these orders went down significantly in quality. I probably should have taken pics but my side of rice that came with the meal was a joke- it was literally 1/3 of the size it used to be! Not only that but the chicken and broccoli only had broccoli with 5 pieces of chewy rubbery chicken. I literally sat there trying to chew it down and got disgusted when it kept springing back up and spat it all out. The sweet and sour chicken is now super crispy BUT there is no meat inside it. I literally had 5 pieces where there was NOTHING in the fried dough. Their shrimp chow mei fun was SUPER greasy and tasted burnt although strangely it wasn’t. I had to squeeze the oil out with a paper towel and I still feel greased up nauseous. I am so glad their food doesn’t taste good anymore because this finally means I won’t order Chinese takeout. This used to be my only go-to but this has nausea is enough to traumatize me to search for a new one for a while.

The food is made very fresh over at this Chinese restaurant. Yesterday was my first time inside maxim garden. I ordered chicken and broccoli with beef inside with chicken fried rice no onions and brussel sprouts. The pieces of chicken inside the chicken fried rice were really a decent size.i also ordered some chicken tempura, it was my first time tasting chicken tempura. All white meat chicken breast seasoned just right,I also ordered some general tso chicken with chicken fried rice. And a couple of spring rolls with and order of fried chicken wings, that was cooked just right. This is definitely one of my favorite Chinese restaurants, they give you really nice portions of food.
Plus my wait wasn’t that long. And the prices aren’t bad ,the lady cashier was very nice and friendly.
This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem in queens briarwood neighborhood. Right there on queens blvd.

The man that delivered my food was the rudest delivery guy that I have ever encountered. I had already tipped him through Grubhub and have half the mind to call Grubhub back and get my money. He shoved the receipt in my hand for me to sign then snatched both the piece of paper and pen out of my hand when I was done. When I said thank you, he rolled his eyes and slammed the front door to my apartment building. The food wasn’t even that good and it tasted like it had been sitting for a while. I will never ever order from here again!
