We ordered a blooming onion and it came in a timely manner. We had to wait on our food. The waiter was really nice about that. We ordered one porater house and they were out. Manger came by to say sorry and give us a free dessert. Our food still did not come so the manager gave us our whole meal for free. The manager and waiter were very nice. I have been to restaurant were they did not care. Would go back again.

My boyfriend and I arrived at 7 pm and the restaurant was at least half empty. We were seated immediately and ordered our drinks and appetizer promptly. Our drinks arrived quickly and we ordered our dinner. At 7:30, and 25 minutes later…we had still not received our appetizer. Which was cheese dip! My boyfriend “found” the waitress and asked about our appetizer and she said it was cooking. When our appetizer finally arrived it was luke warm at best. We returned the appetizer and asked about our dinner. The waitress replied “I don’t know I don’t work back there” At 7:45 my boyfriend received his house salad for his dinner, which he had ordered almost 45 minutes before. At this time, we had to ask for silverware and straws for our waters. We also noticed at this time that the tables around us hadn’t received any silverware either. At 8 we still hadn’t received our dinner, so we paid for our drinks and left. It was one of the worst experiences we have ever had.

Disappointing. First, no signage directing us out-of-towners to the remote location had us taking wrong turns and turning around several times trying to find the driveway. Only one bartender on duty meant a long wait for a drink. Margaritas were weak and tasteless. We waited with two antsy children though several tables were open and clean. Our table had a large streak of something sticky on top as we were seated. Steaks were over-cooked and way too expensive for what we received compared to other restaurants, especially the kids’ medallions. Broccoli was okay. The salad had onions though we requested no onions. The breaded shrimp was more bread than shrimp. Manager was too busy helping the short staff and never stopped to check on our table. If I were to rate our server only, this would be a 4 star rating, so the star is his alone. As a former Outback employee, I can say it’s gone way downhill and we will likely not return.

My steak wasn’t fully cooked, and they took it back to finish cooking. It still wasn’t to my liking, but I kept it to myself because the chef who made it personally came out and apologized to me. The steak tasted weird because of all the different spices that were used on it, and I disliked the salad dressing that my salad came with. But the salad was great, albeit a bit small. I wasn’t a big fan of the blooming onion either, but our drinks were good. It was busy there, and we were seated within 15 minutes of getting there. I won’t be eating there again anytime soon due to the food itself rather than the staff. The portions should be larger for the price paid.

Waited 15 minutes on a table after I had counted 13 open tables server was nice but brought us absolutely filthy utensils to eat with. Restroom were nasty with paper towels on the floor and soap all over the counter. Tables and lamp shades look as if they haven’t been cleaned in months. Appetizer was burned. We had had enough and walk out. When it first opened this restaurant was outstanding over the last 8 years it has went downhill tremendously!

Food was cold when served. Manager and waitress tried to make me happy by cooking me another steak. That steak was tuff but it was hot. I really love a good steak but didn’t get one here. The only good thing was the blooming onion. Do yourself a favor don’t get a steak here.

Ordered 2 burgers to go, well done, walked over there to get them, got back to the motel, and they were NOT well done. They were about med, med-rare. Sorry, we can’t do blood. Took them back and the manager was very nice and very sorry about it & refunded our money and also gave us a gift card for the trouble. If you like don’t mind pink meat, this would probably be ok.

Ordered take out and when I opened the salad a bug crawled out. The sweet potatoes had no butter or brown sugar. And the ahi tuna was very dry. It was awful. Then when I called the manager about $50 of dry bug invested food, they put me on hold. Seriously??????

After two years staying away due to the declining quality of Outback, I finally took my family to dinner there.. Large table.. big bill. Service was cordial. It went downhill from there. Everything was smaller.. the plates. the portions. the fries.. I ordered a 22 dollar 9 oz. filet that was specified to the waitress to be cooked wood fire style. It came flat and butterflied and cooked on a flattop instead of wood fire. The portion was about the size of a 6oz at best. Even that would have been a stretch. The most important factor though, was the lack of flavor of the meat. As a side, I ordered grilled asparagus.. which came cold and undercooked. seven miniature tough asparagus. The sautéed mushrooms added on came and obviously had been microwaved due to the fact that some were cold.. and some were warm. Again, smaller portions on the mushrooms. My guests, who always have wanted us to go to an Outback since they were in college 15 years ago all noted the lack of food that they had remembered from the past and the decline in quality. Even the serving plates were noticeably smaller. It is sad to me that we are losing one of the most enterprising restaurant chains of America. They have made choices, I’m sure, due to the economy. Yet, I can readily see that many of their competitive restaurants that have maintained their uniqueness and quality still have lines waiting to get in at night. No. I didn’t talk to the manager or anyone. I have done that before and never enjoyed putting myself in a situation where I have to ‘explain’ what they should be getting on their own. I wonder if the admin of the Outback organization takes their family to an Outback incognito. It may be an eye opener..
