Just a few weeks later, and I couldn’t stay away. Well the truth is, it had been a really awful day, and I did not want to cook!! So, a favorite local choice to the rescue! Pinnacle Grille always pulls me back in with that perfect combo of local charm, great food, and unforgettable people.
This time, it was all about cocktails and comfort. My lemon drop martini arrived in an ice-cold glass with a sugared rim—and bonus points for bringing the shaker to the table so I could top it off myself. It’s such a little thing, but it makes the whole experience feel a little more special. A little fancy, you know! We also ordered a reposado tequila old fashioned, and let me tell you, it was stunning—big gentleman’s cube, dark cherries, chunk of fresh orange, just the right amount of smoky and sweet. Well done, Jackson! Thank you for consistently delivering one of the best reposado tequila old fashions in town!
For supper, I went all-in on the personal recommendation from Erik, who we’ve enjoyed having several times as our waiter, and he suggested the Steak Gorgonzola Pasta. Yep, he was right! It was a perfectly grilled bistro steak over Cajun Alfredo, topped with cherry tomatoes, and a little balsamic drizzle for that tangy kick. It was rich, decadent, and completely worth it. Carbs and steak…a perfect pair!
And because the day had been way too stressful dessert was screaming my name so, we split the Chocolate Lava Cake. Warm, gooey chocolate with that melty center, plus a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Total heaven.
Honestly? Pinnacle Grille just keeps winning me over. The staff, the food, the drinks—they’ve created something really special here. A true neighborhood favorite that never feels ordinary.
May 28, 2025 visit to a local gem!
Pinnacle Grille is one of those places that makes you wonder why more people aren’t raving about it and why on earth it isn’t packed out every night! Honestly, it’s such a hidden gem—and I mean that in the best way. From the second you walk in, the staff make you feel like you’re part of the family. I’ve been several times now, and they always remember us. Not just our names, but drink orders, allergies, favorite meals—you name it.
Dawn, the manager, is pure sunshine. Glamorous, funny, professional, and genuinely warm. You can feel how much the staff respects her—several have told us they work there because of Dawn. And it shows. The vibe she creates just radiates through the whole place.
The bar? A total highlight. Jackson (wild hair, wild personality) is straight out of “Cheers.” He remembers what you drink and how you like it—before you even ask. Leon keeps things moving fast and friendly with the best laugh and killer bartending skills. And when you are looking for a wine recommendation, just ask for Erik! He is definitely a wine enthusiast and happy to make a suggestion or two!
For supper, I went classic with the All-American cheeseburger and onion rings. I always love a crispy onion ring! Perfectly done. My girlfriend tried the All-American burger with a gluten-free bun (thank you Erik for remembering the gluten allergy from a previous visit before it was even mentioned during this dinner) with steak fries, others in our party had the spaghetti bolognese with garlic toast (hearty and flavorful), and the club sandwich with a side of chili. And not just any chili—this one was topped with fresh jalapeños because my spice-loving friend isn’t messing around and is always looking for the extra punch.
We laughed, we hung out way too long, we left full and happy. This is such a great spot for dinner out with friends without breaking the bank! Pinnacle Grille? It’s local love at its finest. We will definitely be back!
The restaurant became very crowded for Friday dinner and the food coming out of the kitchen was quick for some tables and slow for others, our food took almost 30 minutes. We didn’t order any appetizers, however ordered the Baby Back Ribs (advertised on the menu as Fall off the Bone, which they were). Our rack of ribs came out lukewarm and the table next to us was served with the same temperature.
We will return and try other menu items and hope they are served hot.
My food was good. Now you know….talk to TIM
I was told that it was sliced chicken breast. What I got were tiny burnt nuggets of chicken that were barely edible. Looked that had been sitting in the fryolator for days. Was so looking forward to a nice salad. I did call to share my concerns however no solution was offered. Best to eat at the restaurant
Food: I ordered a burger to be medium and it came nearly rare, my dad ordered medium rare and it came medium well, and my brother ordered medium rare and got medium well.
Service: Took 40 minutes to actually allow us to order drinks and 20 more for food. After we had our food we didn’t see our server for another 30 minutes even after we had finished. Our plates got cleared and then another 30 minutes until we got the check. I’ll aim to never come back.
