I’ve lived in the area for 15 years, This spot has been a few different pizza places over that time span and for some reason I’ve never tried any of them, but decided to give the recently opened Ray’s a shot and i was not disappointed…The pizza was great! It’s a higher quality dough, sauce and cheese that you would get from any run of the mill pizza joint in the local area. The menu has a lot of options and the prices are fair for the times we are in, not to mention the 2 people running the place that greeted me as i walked in were super friendly and polite, i will return!

Best pizza I’ve had in years. I wanted pizza but was tired of the usuals and Ray’s had great reviews. When I picked it up I told the awesome gentleman behind the counter that I’d heard good things. He said “if you hear good things, then say good things.” Great advice, so here it it.
We got two pizza’s, the all meat and the spinach and feta, plus some garlic knots (which were great). I’m not usually a fan of all meat pizza but this was different. The sausage is not overpowering and it’s not in huge clumps dotted around the pizza. It’s ground fine, seasoned perfectly so it doesn’t drown everything out and the other meats are equally balanced. No pepperoni that burns your soul or anything else that draws your attention away from just how good the slice really is.
Even the sauce was perfection. We usually order light sauce from every place but wanted to try the first order ‘as is’ and we’re glad we did. Not too much or too little.
The second pizza we ordered was spinach and feta. Although I decided I didn’t care for the cooked spinach (personal preference only) that one was equally as delicious. I cannot emphasize enough how fresh everything tasted. I don’t care what anyone says. Freshness matters. You CAN taste the difference.
From now on, Ray’s is our pizza place. No question. Give them a try. You won’t regret it. And like the man said. “If you hear good things, say good things’”.

The ranch is insanely good, the marinara was phenomenal and the margherita pizza is what every margherita pizza should aspire to.
Garlic knots were decent, better when they sat in the butter for a while. 10/10 I am worried for my wallet. I thought the prices were a little steep, but worthwhile for a delightful splurge.

Hands down best pizza in Michigan I don’t care what you say this is a genuinely the best pizza on the east side. Worker are great really out going and you can tell how much they love what they do by producing some of the best pizza I’ve had in Michigan being from Philly I’ve experienced many good pizza spot in NJ, NY and Philly. All I can say is it compare to some of the best it’s exactly what I look for in a pizza firm crispy bottom no flop, great sauce and just the right amount of sauce, quality mozzarella not that cheap sprinkle on cheese. Just good quality ingredients on a good slab of dough. All I’m gonna say is they’ll remember me cause this will be the only place I’ll get pizza from now on.

Dad and I had a craving for steak and cheese subs so we decided to try a new place. 10/10 Best steak and cheese in Sterling Heights. The sub was loaded with steak and onions with the cheese blended in every bite. It was still piping hot when we got home. Awesome employees working there! The place was spotless clean. We cant wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

Margherita was very crispy and light with fresh basil. The sauce was phenomenal and the garlic knots were airy and delicious paired with garlicky ranch. Service from two pretty young ladies Lilian and Makana was amazing, they were attentive to us the entire experience. Will come again!

Ordered online which was easy, but upon entering Rays Pizzeria I was cheerfully greeted and welcomed. The gentlemen seemed genuinely happy for my business. My order was ready on time too.
When I got home and opened the pizzas they looked picture perfect! The pickle pizza was good but the NY style margarita pizza was delicious! It seems like quality ingredients all around.
All things considered the price we paid for the meal we got was a good deal. There might be cheaper pizza joints around but the overall quality and experience here is absolutely a value.

This is the first time trying Ray’s, and I already suspect I’ll be a long-time customer. It is absolutely phenomenal. I got garlic knots and a New York style pizza with old fashioned pepperoni, and I have zero complaints. The pizza is massive, as well!
