I’ve been for lunch several times and I’ve always enjoyed it. The amount of food has always left me, my Queen, and my uncle satisfied. I recommend the lunch deals; as good as it is, I don’t think I’d pay more than those deals.

I have to say, I have incredible respect for our waitress and cook. From my dining perspective, it looks like the whole place is a three-man-show. One waitress acting as table busser and host, one chef, and one manager usually helping with the food. Each time I’ve been there, our waitress professionally and positively handled the entire room of customers alone with no mistakes.

Very yummy in my opinion. I’ve only ever really had Panda Express and this was a huge step above. This food tastes pretty dang good. We got one of the family dinners and got 3 servings for 3 people and it was the perfect amount to feed all of us. We even had a little container to take home. It was the perfect amount. The environment was super loud but that wasn’t totally something they could control. Our service was pretty decent. She filled up waters quickly and got our food out fast but just wasn’t super happy and seemed like she wasn’t having a good day. Overall pretty dang good!

Stopped by the mandarin to celebrate the end of semester and was disappointed. Don’t let the wait staff or other comments gaslight you into thinking that this is actually chow mein and we are used to lo mein a simple google search will tell you that’s simply not true.

Chow mein is supposed to be crispier but I’m pretty sure someone got confused when they were making kapusta Zasmaźana (polish stewed cabbage) and added the crispy chow mein noodles to it. Chow mein is made very similar to lo mein except the noodles are stir fried creating a crispier saucy coating where lo mein has more of a saucy texture like pasta. Just in case you are confused.

Anyways service was fine a little slow but they seemed a little understaffed for the rush so we weren’t too bothered. The lighting was a little bright for our taste and some ambiance music would have been nice. If you like somewhat toned down Chinese flavors this is the place for you. The fried rice was a little old and wasn’t really fried. And the sauce was lacking on your chicken but otherwise it was fine?

Probably won’t be back for the amount of food you get the cost isn’t horrible but we spend less at different restaurants in the area and feel more satisfied.

Anyways I’m sure a specific demographic loves this place but not us.

Came here on a recommendation and left pleasantly pleased. Got the lunch family plater for 2. Started out with the pork with spicy mustard, followed by spring rolls, then Chicken chow mein, sweet and sour chicken and pork fried rice. We hit lunch time just right. Alao had Sunflower egg drop soup.

I wanted to like this place as the waitress was very friendly. But the food was not to our liking. The breaded portions of the General TSO chicken was just that…breading with little to no meat inside. The fried rice did not appear to actually be fried rice, but rather steamed rice with some ham in it. The spicy beef was a bit salty. Ambiance is not great, but as I said earlier, the staff was very good.

Small venue but very generous portions. It was a Friday night so it was very crowded with the dinner crowd finishing up and within about 30 minutes the crowd was down to two three tables.
We has a large party of about 10folks, but our waitress had no trouble keeping everybody’s orders straight and she was willing to accommodate our request for separate checks. She even gave us the option of ordering from the lunch menu with its reduced portions and prices.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Rexburg. Is the the best chinese food you’ll ever have? Probably not, but I have been to many restaurants and nobody does gyoza (potstickers) like these guys! They are very affordable and usually have great service, unless they are packed clear full. If you have an itch for Chinese food, I would highly recommend this place. I have tried at least half of their menu, and as long as you order something normal (orange chicken, general tso’s, mandrin chicken, sweet and sour chicken/pork, chicken lo mein) you will not be disappointed. Some of their other dishes can be a little interesting, but stick to the basics and you’ll be fine!

Their Cho Mein is what you got to watch out for, many people order the Cho Mein thinking it is the Lo Mein and they’re highly disappointed.

Their lunch prices are like .75 cents cheaper than dinner options, and it’s usually less packed than during dinner. Dining during dinner may result in slower service because they have an influx of people and takeout orders they are trying to prepare for.

Ordering takeout from these guys is great cause they pack you up! They really fill up the boxes when you do take out.

Overall, an amazing establishment, I cannot speak enough great things about this place. It definitely hits the three A’s: Affordable, Attentive staff, and Appetizing food!

My fiancé and I happened upon this place solely by looking through Google maps. We love this place, and have been a couple of times now. When we go, there’s little to no wait, the staff are super friendly, and the food is SO good!

This is a great hole-in-the-wall Chinese food restaurant. The service today was fantastic. The young lady running the front counter was just awesome. Seating was very fast. Order taking was equally efficient. Appetizer came withing 5 minutes. Hot entrees were served within 10. Parking is easy. Food was delicious. Highly recommend.

This is my favorite Chinese place I’ve ever been to! The fried rice is especially amazing! I always get an extra helping because it is so good. The Mandarin has ruined all other Chinese for me
