The waitresses were nice but I may have gotten someone new.. we waited 40 minutes to get our food with only 4 other people in the restaurant. The kitchen was slow and inexperienced. Ordered 2 pancakes and only got one that was overcooked, when we asked for the other it took 15 minutes to get it, this one completely burnt. At this point I told her I didn’t want it and we paid and left.
I’ve never had a pleasant experience with huddle houses.
Also, I dont know if they had just waxed, but there was a THICK film of residue on the floors to the point where there was no grip and we slid to walk, I was extremely concerned about the elderly people who came in.

Our waitress was extraordinary and super nice. She was the best one I believe I’ve ever had while in there. The cooks today were also very great. They had 2 cooks call in out of work today so 2 of the waitresses had to fill in as cooks! They did a wonderful job at cooking. Idk any of their names but they all was top notch in my book. Thank you ladies at huddle house for a great meal experience today.

They’re okay. The food is kind of expensive in my opinion for being a restaurant. I can make the same things at home cheaper & have more than enough for my whole family without it costing me a half a weeks worth of groceries. Plus I know I’m clean when I cook. Their kitchen staff/cooks aren’t exactly the cleanest in my opinion, but most of their wait staff are great, but that’s just my opinion. You can go see for yourself.

As first time diners we were a bit underwhelmed by the food from beginning to end. Especially for the price. Service was good though. Celebrating our anniversary with a stay in St. Genevieve we wanted a good place to enjoy a special dinner. Unfortunately, we both feel that we should have chosen a different place.

I’ve been a couple times but this last time was awful. Never got refills, had to tell our order 3 times and it still wasn’t right, I asked for the French salad dressing and she brought me both Italian and Ranch, before bringing me the right one. It was just awful, the food that we did get tasted ok, but about 3 hours after we all felt sick. I’m giving it 2 stars only because we’ve been there before and it wasn’t anywhere near that bad. I don’t know if the waitress was just having a bad day or just always that bad, but she’d disappear for 5 to 10 minutes at a time and occasionally pop her head out, despite having 3 or 4 tables of people. The cook eventually gave us our check because we got tired of waiting for her to come back.

First off we got their Sunday at 10:30-11 so they asked if we wouldn’t mind coming back they had “shift change” and needed to clean the grill so that would take about an hour. We left and went to visit my papaw at NHC nursing home. After our visit we returned and we’ll they obviously didn’t have a shift change the same people were working. Then on top of this the food was terrible. Tasted good but very greasy and we had diarrhea for that night and half the next day. Shape up Huddle House.
