This is our go-to ice cream spot for a reason. Cone Slingers makes truly fresh, small-batch ice cream, and it shows in every scoop.

They keep great long-term favorites on the menu, but the seasonal flavors are what make each visit special. There is always something new to try, and every flavor has been excellent so far.

Consistently delicious, creative, and always worth the stop. Five stars without hesitation.

First time here. We got the lemon, unicorn, and cinnamon bun ice cream. All really good!
Cinnabon is super sweet but they will also let you taste some before u order. 1 scoop gives you a lot of ice cream. Great atmosphere.

This is by far my favorite local ice cream shop! The ice cream is made there and it is high quality, the variation of flavors never disappoint!

Best in the Hampton Roads Area, if you think not and there is someone else. They are not advertising correctly. Because I do not mind a head freeze from their ice cream and I’m lactose.

This store had a pleasant and country vibe to it. The two coworkers Adirah and Ethan were very kind and welcoming. I had many questions they answered with patience. The ice cream was very delicious as well.

Quite possibly the best ice cream I’ve ever had! And I’m a huge ice cream lover. We all got a different flavor and each of them was amazing. Very flavorful while also still being light enough to finish the entire scoop. I am obsessed with the bee pollen lavender ice cream. I will be coming back for that again and again! They are SLINGIN them cones!

As for seating, there is enough for an ice cream shop but I wouldn’t plan on bringing the WHOLE family and finding a spot to sit. Just grab it and go!

Rotating menu of flavours, all of them delicious. They do have vegan options and keep them separate, and have flavours marked if they’re gluten free. Highly recommend stopping in for a sweet treat after a meal or running errands (or both!)

My daughter came in with my husband and her brother to purchase ice cream. She purchased a butter pecan shake and it tasted just like milk with no sweetness. She went back in to let the guy know since he was the only one there this evening around 6 pm, and she asked could she change it for something else since it tasted like milk with ni flavor, and he said no, and that she would have to buy another one. This is poor customer service especially since the ice cream shake tasted horrible and he showed he didn’t care. Our family will not be back and nor will we recommend anyone else there.

I arrived in the evening of a hot day, so there were plenty of customers—on the other hand, there were four attentive “slingers,” so all of us were served enormous scoops of excellent ice cream at $7 per scoop tax paid (you add whatever tip you will). The ice cream I chose was a coffee with pieces of toffee, but the choices were many and the ice cream was cold enough to stay on the cone evidently for as long as it took to consume, no matter what you had chosen.

I believe the posted price of $10,000 for a hand-packed pint of ice cream is a bit of drollery, but you may want to check before you hand over your credit card—which they will accept.

Parties arrived in twos up to about eights, but everyone seemed to settle in both indoors and out. When I arrived one young woman was happily licking her cone while sitting in the open trunk of her car—I thought she would make a nice picture, but she thought not. I had to settle for a picture of the facade of the building.

In searching for Cone Slingers at dusk, it is probably best to watch for the Exxon station and turn into that parking lot.

This ice cream place is amazing! The flavors are the best. Creative, delicious, and always spot on. The owner is just the sweetest; you can tell she really cares. My whole family loves coming here. Honestly, I have to limit myself because I have zero self-control when it comes to their ice cream, it’s THAT good.
