I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast experience this morning. The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. The service was equally impressive; the staff were attentive and very friendly. I truly felt well taken care of throughout my meal. I would highly recommend this establishment for a wonderful start to the day.

Their biscuits are AMAZING!!! So fluffy and tasty. They’re not crumbly like some are, and they don’t leave that weird mouthfeel like a lot of places do. They taste like fresh, homemade biscuits. I’m obsessed, with a little jam and butter they give you on the side . I’ve never had biscuits outside of home taste SO good.

A very nice and welcoming place. Even after I finished my meal and went out of store, I wanted to work with my laptop and I was siting on the ground, suddenly the owner of the place brought a chair for me outside to sit.

Great local drug store with a nice eating area for American favorites including cheeseburgers, fries, and shakes. Tremendously friendly owner and staff that go out of their way to take care of everyone who walks through the front door. I recommend the Turkey Bacon sandwich, piled high with white meat turkey. Free refills on drinks. Fries not overcooked. Saturday afternoons are a good time to visit.

Still perfect after all these years. I used to eat lunch here twice a week when I was a student at UNC Chapel Hill. 40 years later and I get to bring my family back. I got the burger with chili and slaw and a side of fries. It was a good as I remember. The staff is incredibly friendly and it’s so much fun to look around at all the photos and history. I wouldn’t change a thing about this place.

This place was pretty cool. They only serve breakfast in the morning though. Not sure when lunch starts as they’re closed at 2:30. They were able to make me a chicken salad sandwich, but not the burger my husband wanted. That’s okay because his breakfast was good (though they forgot his homefries). Very inexpensive. Good service.

The food is really good. It is what you would expect from an old drug store lunch counter. The atmosphere is amazing. So much history it is a treat just to walk in and look around. This is a must try if you are visiting or live in the area.
