I stopped by this place while waiting for an oil change nearby. The layout of the restaurant was really fun — you can see the ice rink right next to it, which felt straight out of a high school movie. I loved the classic American diner vibe. It wasn’t too crowded, which made it feel even more local and cozy.
There were claw machines and candy dispensers here and there, which added to the charm. The server was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered a drink, some chili, and a burger. The food wasn’t amazing, but it was decent. Overall, it’s a very chill place. I feel like it’d be a fun spot to stop by once in a while to grab a drink and hang out with a friend.

It is really off the beaten path but well worth the effort to find it. Nice bar/grill with truly amazing daily food specials. The $1 tacos (American style only) on Mondays are fantastic and the $4 hangover burger on Friday is fabulous. Also have a full menu of American pub grub, all reasonably priced and tasty. The place is attached to an ice rink so also fun to watch the skaters. Best on weekdays to avoid all the hockey parents.

We have been visiting the Blue Line in Addison 3 times a week for the past five years. Michelle, Jeff, Jackie and Shannon, prior to her passing, were a joy. We celebrated hockey wins, losses, birthday parties and just hung with some of the best folks in the world! Thanks to the five-star staff including the cooks and bartenders that made every visit a treat! Continued success!

Tried to dine in just now at this place. 4:30 on Tuesday 11/22. Walked in with my husband and our baby in a stroller. The place was empty. Looks awesome and it was clean but the one lady working the bar looked annoyed when we walked in. Didn’t acknowledge us. We sat at a table and grabbed our own menus. I had gone to the bathroom, come out and sat down to realize we still hadn’t been greeted. That’s when I looked over and saw the bartender video gambling with the one other customer in the restaurant. She then proceeded to empty her own food in the back, come back out and STILL not acknowledge us. Some other guy finally came in after we’d been there for over 10-15 mins now and chased her down just to get himself a beer.
Unfortunate experience because it looks like a really cool place. You can see hockey practice through the windows. I hate leaving a bad review but she was the WORST.

Great prices on food and beer. Everyone who works there is very friendly. The people who come to watch their kids play hockey are friendly and respectful. Is like the tv show CHEERS.

The food is amazing, the fries are just like Portillos awesome, the burger is great, the fried chicken sandwich is huge and very good. Prices are very affordable. But the service really needs help and consistency. My first time I was here the server came to my table. Second time I was ignored for five minutes so I walked out. I decided to try it again just because of the food. Third time I was told that you walk up to the bar to order, I did not know that. Fourth time the dark haired girl who was my server the first time, and is really cool, explained how thing operate here. Now I’m back because I had a job in the area and the blonde girl made me pay immediately when I ordered. I’m confused because all the other times I paid at the end like a usual restaurant plus I may want to order more food. Well i guess tipping is not required since I just paid like it was take out. And I’m not sure I will order something else because I don’t want to pay again. The food is amazing, the service needs consistency and everyone needs to be on the same page

2/19/24 – My daughter is taking skating lessons so I went in here to have a beer and watch the Daytona 500. One TV had a hockey game on, one with the news, FIVE with poker, a couple of others had other things on – and the families in there were not watching them. The bartender asked if she could get me anything and I said if you can’t put on the Daytona 500 I will go outside and watch it on my phone. Her response was “Okay”. Wow!
