Love churches. My favorite friend chicken. We went to order the food to go. Everything we ordered they said they didn’t have except the chicken, no okra, no corn, no coleslaw, no mashed potatoes. Everything was not made? The chicken was cold. Luckily & surprisingly we got biscuits. It was 7:30 pm. No excuses to not have half of what we ordered there. We were so excited to find this place by where we live. Blanco & west ave. To say it was good will be lying. As much as my family loved chuch’s we will not be coming back to this location. As for the atmosphere no one was there. I wonder why.

I went in to this location drive thru ordered chicken, bombers,fries,okra, jalapeno and biscuits paid was asked to wait in front for my food. Drove to front to wait for our order. After about 10 minutes I see the young lady come out of churches with a large bag. she goes to another vehicle and walks to the churches door almost entering the building…when she gets called back by the vehicle she had just delivered. she returns to vehicle and gets the bag back and walks to my vehicle. I explained to the young lady that because the food had been in the other vehicle (I assumed they had opened something in that bag to realize the food did not belong to them.) I did not feel the food was sanitary anymore. She said that they didn’t touch anything I explained it was in their vehicle I would like a refund. She went in to explain to the tyrone d (the Hispanic guy ) who is on the recipe and refunded my order. While I’m waiting I see another employee eating no gloves behind the counter. I see them take out the items from the bag and put it in a smaller bag and give it another customer.this was disgusting to watch. I will not be eating here again. Not clean and you don’t know where the food has been. Next I go to a restaurant or fast food I’m recording and posting the video it’s shorter. Churches do better!

I went in to ask the manager why their QR code didn’t work for an offer of a free 2 piece when downloading the app. The manager acted like he was going to help me until a customer came in and give their crew free food. The manager got amnesia right away and left me hanging while he scrambled to give the customer free food.
My lunch time was ruined. And I left with him still trying to take care of the customer that came after me. Make it make sense.

Really couldn’t say about atmosphere. Went through drive-through. Got the 8pc dark meat, fries , orka, and 5 jalapeños. However, my Lg Orka was 6.29??? Just look at the picture! This place was a rip off!!!! My bill $33.62 will never go back to this Church’s.

Don’t come here unless you want to deal with incompetent fast food workers. Employee had us reorder our food at the window, we paid, she gave us the wrong drinks, THEN told us the chicken wouldn’t be ready for another 10 mins. We didn’t want to wait that long so we asked for a refund. She said she needed my credit card for the refund, which she still had. She couldn’t find my credit card for a while. Absolutely abysmal even by fast food standards.
UPDATE: just go to the Church’s by UTSA. It’s 20 mins away from me while this location is 5 mins away. It’s totally worth the extra time it takes to go to the Church’s by UTSA because there they at least know what they’re doing and are polite.

rude, disgusting, unclean. manager and general manager and clerk literally handling trash in front of customers waiting to order and then touching food without washing their hands. I personally saw the general manager using the same gloves he used to batter the chicken with and then touch trash. I told him I wanted a refund and he refused. I’m calling the head of the san antonio health department on this location which happens to be a dear friend.

I ordered online through DoorDash and let me tell you, very long wait time to start with. After my order was finally delivered I saw I was missing items that I had paid extra for, I ordered extra rolls and jalapeno poppers, both were missing from my order. Thankfully I issued a refund through DoorDash to get my money back, but I am very disappointed with this place. Never order from this location ever again, after reading all the other negative reviews, this staff in this location seriously needs to get their stuff together!

I placed an order through a food delivery service and went to pick it up. I got there about 9:03 and the door was locked. The sign on the door said they close at 10. An employee came to the door and I told her I had an order. She took it through the restaurant and out a back door to hand it to me. I asked her about the closing time and she said the lobby closes at 9 and the drive-thru at 10. There is no signage saying that.
After I got home, I realized she didn’t give me my drink. I went online to fill out a feedback form and asked for someone to contact me. One of the questions on the contact form was if there was a sticker on the order. There was, and it was blank, so that was useless.
It’s been 3 weeks and no one has contacted me.

If you live a decent distance away, don’t go to this location. Quick to sell you uncooked chicken, and an order that isn’t complete. Apparently, according to the girl working at this moment that answered the phone, it’s not the restaurants fault they served me raw chicken, and didn’t give me a complete order. I thought that’s why I’m also the one that needs to go and take care of it tomorrow, because it’s an inconvenience to have a manager working right now. Well, I mean, inconvenient to have someone available willing to help? But hey, they got me in the book. Also, don’t try to inquire which manager or employee didn’t do their job that day. They’ll hang up on you before you can actually get any information to file a complaint properly ♂️

I ordered a 4 piece combo. My father in the hospital requested 1 thigh because that’s all can eat. I specifically asked for 1 thigh and at least one breast in my mixed combo. I was quoted 12 minutes for the wait time so I parked. After 20 or so minutes, I walked in side to wait. They said they are waiting on a leg. They said they had to take care of online orders. I explained that it’s too long and give me my food.
I received 2 breasts and 2 wings. Burnt and crisp, looks like old oil to save money.
