It’s a nicely redone little coffee and breakfast place. I got the special which was ciabatta bread and brisket. I was a little disappointed with the brisket, but they did a good job with coffee and the potatoes. And the service is hopping to get what you want! This is a cute little joint that you will see lots of moms at.

Thoroughly enjoyed the latte and breakfast! The waitress/owner? served up the perfect latte and an amazing breakfast. Loved the atmosphere and the large windows-will be back to try the other menu items for sure! Highly recommend!

This is a really nice establishment with some super yummy food and nice people. The day I went in they were short staffed and had a limited menu, but it was still really good. The food is some of the only food I’ve had in town that you actually feel healthy eating, it’s all put together extremely well, and the place is just super lowkey and nice. Overall my only actual complaint is the price. For the quality of ingredients and it being a small business I understand why it’s so expensive but it still hurts the wallet. Overall 4 stars, in everything but price 5.

Super cute building, terrible location for parking though. Food was okay I guess? Just tasted like food you can make at home. Seems overpriced for what you get and the quality, but they are a new business and just bought the building so maybe the prices will go down? But definitely not worth what you pay. There is nothing wrong with the food, it’s just not restraunt quality in my opinion. Coffee was meh, thought it would be out of this world as this is a brunch place, but again nothing special, and priced higher than it should be. Have been a few times, each time they where short staffed and had a limited menu. Takes a while to get to order. I think whoever is cooking is maybe just learning to cook on the equipment they have as it seems like there where some temperature issues with things. When I saw $9 for 2 pancakes I assumed they would be huge, lol they are not. Maybe they are still too new and haven’t worked out the kinks yet. They were friendly and welcoming 5hough. But quality of food, speed of service, and pricing are just not it.

We had the breakfast special of the day which consisted of potatoes, your choice of meat, house made white gravy and topped with two eggs. It was delicious!! The customer service was great, very friendly. I recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. We will go back if we are in the area again. We were visiting from out of state.

Normally I don’t post pics of half-eaten food… but when brunch hits this good, you make an exception.

Incredible new spot that I think will be around for a long time—everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly done.

And the best part? The extremely welcoming and wonderful service. Warm, friendly, and so genuine—you can really tell they care. Can’t wait to come back!

This place used to be a bicycle shop, but after the owner passed away, the building was turned into a restaurant. I loved that they kept the bicycle-themed decor- it’s a charming tribute to its history.

There’s a good amount of parking on the right side of the building, though it can get pretty busy, so just a heads up!

Here’s what my friends and I ordered:

Sidewalk Surfer
Just FYI, this is only available on Fridays and Saturdays! You can tell all the ingredients are fresh, but I do wish the portion size was a bit larger. That said, the masa cake was unique, so I’m glad I got to try it.

Death Grip
If you’re craving something sweet and savory, this is the one. It tastes like a donut sandwich with deep-fried brioche bread and a side of jam (which has a bit of a kick!)
It’s definitely on the heavier side but flavorful!

Peddler
If you’re in the mood for something lighter, I’d recommend the Peddler. It’s a more refreshing option compared to the Deathgrip.

The food took a little while to come out, but our server was incredibly kind and welcoming. She checked in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed.

Looking forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu the next time I’m in Brownwood

Super charming place, love that it’s mostly locally sourced food and super fresh. Service. Was. Terrible. The server for my section ignored me for a very long time before getting just my drink order. Then sets down a cup of coffee without offering cream and sugar- who does that? You cannot expect everyone drinks black coffee! That set the stage for very poor interactions from that point forward. I know they can’t do anything about the screeching child, but you can pay better attention to your customers. And because I was not happy about them being out of what I wanted and mumbled something under my breath (not intended for the server but she heard it and immediately decided to have a bad attitude with me) and completely ignored me from that point. The pancakes (which i got since they were out of biscuits) were delicious and I’m actually glad I had to make a change. I’ve said this in other reviews and I’m saying it here- just because a person is solo in your restaurant does not mean you can ignore them or treat them poorly. My money and tip spend just as well as everyone else’s. And despite the poor service I still tipped 25% (probably better than most).

The service wasn’t great. Took 15 minutes to get food ordered. The fruit was only nectarines and we were not told that. The pancakes were cooked on too high of heat so it didn’t cook all the way through but it still had the outside crusty. The coffee wasn’t even good. Starbucks has better coffee. And the prices?!? Two pancakes for $9 that’s outrageous. I shouldn’t have even tipped. They didn’t bring me my drink until after my food. I am not eating here again. And the regular size coffee was so small and $6

Excellent food and atmosphere!
Driving through, this was an excellent choice, and we look forward to returning. The chorizo, queso fresco, with avocado omelette was DELICIOUS, and I appreciate they have gluten-free options. The fresh fruit was on point. The decaf Americano, coffee with oat milk was made perfect. What a great experience and we are so thankful to have met such kind owners.
