As a New Year’s Celebration and gift to me, my fiancee made dinner reservations but we were running behind because of the rain. The hostess on phone was professional and kind just like our waitress, Lea. Waiters were dressed professional and all presented very neatly groomed. We got window sitting. The table was elegantly decorated lighting was perfect, and cutlery was changed out according to what type of meal. Our waitress brought us bread, there were 3 types of bread. My favorite was the pesto and cheese that I dipped in the olive oil and sauce. FOOD: I ordered the 6oz fillet mignon medium rare, blackened shrimp , roasted wild mushrooms, broccolinni and potato gratin it has Gouda in it. The fillet and the add ons were made to perfection and flavors blended, yummy .The sneak knife had a perfect weight, designed handle, and cut through the tender fillet like a Gillette. Of course I looked up the knife because I loved it; it is a Hepp Taurus. DRINK: I ordered a signature drink smoky agave taste and perfect temperature. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. We didn’t sit there for long needing something. Food wait time was good despite the restaurant being busy. Can’t rush amazing food. PARKING: We did vallet and they were quick at the start and end. Plan to dine again

We had an amazing experience dinning at the Perch this evening for my birthday. The food was incredible and our server was phenomenal. Serenity was so kind and attentive. She went above and beyond to make sure we had an exceptional dinning experience. We can’t wait to come back.

This place is fabulous!! From the time we were sat until we walked out, the service was incredible.
Our server, Rochelle, was positively outstanding. She seemed to be one step ahead of what we needed and her amazing personality made our experience extra special.
Her knowledge of the menu and wine selections were spot on.
The wine presentation was flawless and professional. The food…wow, the food!!!
There were four in our party, one was my granddaughter, who was turning 13 and that was our celebration dinner.
We had steaks and rack of lamb for the entree, all were cooked to perfection.
All appetizers, bone marrow, charcuterie and octopus were SO good!
The baked potatoes, truffle potatoes, haystack potatoes and asparagus were delicious!
Dessert was extra special for the birthday girl.
Huge shout out to the kitchen staff for an incredible dining experience and another HUGE shout out to Rochelle for the top notch, stellar service and bringing an extra serving of joy and genuineness to our experience.
We will most definitely be back, thank you!!!

I must vehemently disagree with Nicholás. The food here is exceptional and the atmosphere is almost better. I didn’t find the onion soup to be too salty, but then again I am a person that enjoys flavor. The servers are attentive and kind and the wine list is phenomenal. All complimented by the gorgeous view. I’ve eaten here a few times and have not had a bad experience yet.

The place is decorated in a vulgar and tacky way.
The cutlery is of poor quality, and the dress code is very lax. There were even people eating with baseball caps on.
In a place where they charge $90 for a meat dish, you expect elegant and refined decor, not AI-generated photos on the walls. The service was slow, and the food was acceptable. The onion soup was extremely salty and burnt on top. The bread they serve is of mediocre quality, which I also find unacceptable considering the prices.

5 employees stood in front with smirky smiles on their faces. Very pleased to turn early diners away! No way to treat local residents! The restaurant had empty seats, this is Tuolumne county and not the most of fine dining. Management is doing a disservice to the local residents with the uppity attitude. Help yourself to being humble.

Beware of the white woman bartender with blonde hair, I should of got the hint when I was at the bar and she was talking trash about another table. She talked down about them and the drinks they ordered in front of me and my partner. We had one round of drinks and charged the drinks to our room. However when we checked out we realized she added the drinks ($38) to our room and left herself a nice $100 tip. So in total it said we spent $138 at the Perch rooftop dining and had the $38 added to our hotel room. Double charged. We left her a more than generous cash tip (because we didn’t want her talking crap about us to her next guest). Talked to customer service over the phone after we noticed the charge a day later. They took it off but it’s the principal though. Never again
