Service was great nice girl running the register and taking care of people was so nice and helpful. But the food was absolutely awful! If you want hospital food that’s not cooked great this is your cup of tea. I gave them two chances to make eggs that could be eaten & failed miserably both times. Over medium and scrambled, both undercooked and the over medium were so greasy it took over 6 napkins to absorb it all before realizing the whites of the eggs were slimy. The biscuits and gravy had an extreme amount of gravy that made the biscuit impossible to taste. Then for the rest of the day my stomach has hurt. I ate breakfast there and it’s 802pm and my stomach is not happy from eating at 920am.
And it was far overpriced, go to a real restaurant for that price and get good food and waited on!

love this hyvee but they made their hours end at 9 which is not exactly great for late night workers. do better hyvee not everyone works 8-4, you used to be a lifeline for late night workers and now you’re barely usable for anyone before the age of 65.

The people were nice the food was not that good for the price. Eggs undercooked & were super oily as was the sausage. Asked for replacement on eggs make these scrambled and they seemed wet. Biscuits and gravy were ok but for the price could’ve went to a few other places that would be better. Seemed like hospital or hotel food.

We eat often at Hy Vee Market Grill. Today was one of our best visits! Freezing outside … warm and friendly inside. Biscuits and gravy are always good. Today we had something new… the smothered Hashbrown. More than amazing! Our server, Jennifer B. Did a nice job keeping the coffee filled.

The absolute worst Caesar salad I’ve ever had . Thinking it as a bagged lettuce blend , that was picked through to get the freshest pieces of mixed lettuce out of the. And that’s just what I received . Also had bagged tiny croutons that were so hard that they were inedible . I skipped out on those all together . Can’t afford the dental damage from them .’
The lady that took our order was friendly , and professional. The atmosphere was an older crowd , but it was fairly clean in there .
I just would never recommend getting this salad again . To be honest , I probably won’t be back for a very long time . It was a complete waste of my money .

Ordered for pick up. Did not add white gravy to the mashed potatoes as requested. Instead there was no gravy. I’m pretty sure the chicken tenders had been sitting there all day. Ate maybe 10% and threw the rest away.

The service I had here was excellent. The bartender/waitress had dark brown hair and was so friendly and helpful. She managed to do it all and I was very impressed. The happy hour is every day from 4-6 which was great because we were there to watch a 3pm football game since they have Sunday Ticket (which I love!) Happy Hour is $5 appetizers and $2 off all bar drinks. I feel that the prices of food and drinks are fair anyway but on a discount they are amazing. I had an awesome cocktail for $5 and we split a couple apps and the bacon jalapeno wontons and cheese curds were really great. I have eaten at other Market Grilles before and the food is good, especially in terms of value. I really like this place and will be back.

Phew, came up here today and Brooklyn wasn’t here and it was so nice to feel welcome and not feel such hostile energy. The three booths in the bar area didn’t have “reserved” placards on them either, being reserved for nobody. We weren’t given dirty looks when we came in or made to feel unwelcome either. We don’t like to sit bar side due to the fruit flies, but one time we tried to use the bar side booths and were very rudely told they were closed (with no one at the bar except.. you guessed it). Great experience this time around!

I must admit that I walked into the Market Grille with very low expectations. I thought we would grab something in the prepared food section and essentially eat it in a cafeteria setting.
But no! We were greeted on the way in and taken to a table with multiple menus — whiskey, wine/beer/mixed drinks and a full menu. The staff was friendly and very courteous. The menu was wide, including even sushi and other oriental options. The seafood and steak selection was varied as well. I chose scallops and my wife chose shrimp tacos.
My scallops were grilled just right. The craft beer selection is extensive and great wines are available. I was surprised that the presentation and plating was very professional.
I’m in and I’ll go back. Who knew?

Came in for my Grandsons Birthday breakfast. His favorite place is Hyvee. He loves their pancakes. We arrive, get seated, very nice wait person. We get our drinks and menus. Our grandson says “pancakes please”. We’re out of pancakes, the wait person says. How does a grocery store run out of pancakes? He was very disappointed but he was barely ok with French toast instead. We almost left to go elsewhere. Weird!
