We went for dinner at Indian Tadka.
Appetizer : Hara bara kabab was flavorful and packed with spinach, making it a healthy start.
Main course : The Kashmiri chicken curry had an exceptionally smooth gravy, and the butter naan was soft and easy on the stomach. The jasmine rice was beautifully presented, resembling a tual flower, and tasted just as good.
Drink : The mango lassi was perfect to cool everything down and complemented the meal beautifully.
Service: The servers were polite and respectful. Prateek in particular did an excellent job and made us feel very welcome.
We enjoyed the food so much that every plate was wiped clean.
Dessert : We were also treated to a complimentary rasmalai, which was a lovely surprise, especially since it was our anniversary.
Definitely a must try Indian restaurant in town.

If you’re craving authentic Indian flavors within a 100-mile radius, this spot stands out. The dishes pack a punch with rich, traditional tastes you won’t easily find elsewhere in Peoria. However, the prices don’t quite match the portion sizes, leaving you wanting a bit more for your buck. Still, with limited options in town, it’s one of the better places to savor a true taste of India. A few tweaks, and it could easily become a go-to favorite!

I usually order chicken biryani from this restaurant and they always put very less quantity in the box where they could still put more and I called them and complained twice and I ordered today the same again 3rd time still the same. Beautiful restaurant, so much so that I had my wedding there! Great venue and staff. Excellent food – you can tell it’s fresh and made from scratch. My mom said it was the best food she’s ever eaten at a wedding. They do catering, cakes, parties, etc and it’s honestly impressive. The only sad thing is that such a beautiful restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a fairly unattractive strip mall. It’s a gem though!!

Always a pleasure to dine @ Indian Tadka. From the mango lassi to the garlic Naan to the dal Tadka and sizzling tandoori chicken, the food is always well presented and most delicious. Compliments to Chef Das! The attentive, polite and friendly service deserves a 5-star rating. Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended.

I had Chicken shezwan noodles and Apollo Fish 2 months back and it was very tasty but yesterday I tried the same dishes again, they were not at all good especially the noodles. I think they didn’t mix it well, they were way too salty. Btw Mango lassi was good.

Update: The lunch buffet is open on Sundays (11:30-2:30). The selection and quality of food are great. The dining hall is clean and beautifully decorated. Somewhat expensive than other restaurants in the area (buffet was about $25 per person iirc) but the food quality makes up for it.
Takeout: The Butter Chicken was great. Goat Biriyani was not very good. We didn’t dine-in but the location seemed spacious and clean. The prices are on the higher side (they said it’s because of supply chain issues).

I’m not much of a fan for India type foods, but I definitely had a change of heart after eating here. Came in with a party of 7 to celebrate my brother’s birthday, who had an appreciation w/India culinary. The host & server were prompt, polite, and patient as well as knowledgeable of the menu. Drinks, refills, and the food were served in a timely manner. The Chicken Tikka, Regular Rice (Jasmine), Garlic Naan, and Hot and Sour Chicken Soup were delicious! Btw, for picky children, they do provide a kid’s menu with a variety of items. Great atmosphere, nice attentive people, and definitely will be back! Thanks!

I cannot stress how amazing the food is here. We’ve been here twice and both times were fantastic! Everyone here is super friendly, the food is served hot and fresh, and the price point is great! The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. There’s a huge variety of food served here as well! Lots to try! We’ll definitely be back again!
