My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here. The staff were friendly and super attentive. The hostess, server, manager…even valet wished us a happy anniversary! The food was delicious. I had crispy ravioli and I’m still thinking about it (a must try). My husband had the New Orleans shrimp (I think that’s what it’s called) which I also sampled…YUM. The drinks were also great! They really made our night! Would definitely go back!

The appetizers were very good. We ordered two steaks, the Steak Frites and the 14oz Ribeye. They were good, but I genuinely believe the bone-in ribeye that I had at Texas Roadhouse was clearly the better steak at less than half of the price. For $67, I expect dry-aged, prime-cut beef. This was not dry-aged and I am pretty sure it was choice beef. Charging $67 for that ribeye is highway robbery. Do not recommend given the insanely high prices. Go to Outback, Longhorn, or Texas Roadhouse and save yourself some money

Here’s the scoop about Schulas 347 inside the Hotel Duval on Monroe St. Let’s start with the vibe and the service. I ate here three days in a single week to try different menu items. During all three visits the service was fantastic. The place was never busy, but still, the staff stayed on top of things and I was never neglected. As the for the automatic added 20 percent gratuity, they should make that stand out better. I learned after the first night not to add another 20 percent to the bill, that was on me! Now for the food. The first night, Steak Medallions. Cooked to the proper temp and soft , no complaints. The Mac and cheese that was an up charge, not worth it! Luke warm and the cheese was of low quality to me. The brussel sprouts had great flavor but they were not cooked to softness so the ends were really tough to bite. The first night they didn’t have French onion soup so I got the Caesar salad, it was delicious.
The next night ,I got French onion soup to start, but the cheese was not melted fully and the soup was lukewarm. For the main entree, I ordered Salmon, broccoli, and corn risotto. The food was delicious. The bread was soft and hot too.
Lastly, I got a house salad the third night. The flavor was good but the lettuce was on its last leg. Some pieces were wilted. I ordered the Shula burger with fries. The burger was hot, the cheese melted, and the first warm-ish.
I will say overall, decent quality, no way is it worth the price, but if you’re staying at the hotel, the convenience factor definitely weighs in. You may or may not be disappointed depending on what you order. Overall, I would only recommend if you don’t mind paying a premium for convenience, otherwise try something else. Again, the service was awesome, the kitchen just needs some work. Cheers!

My husband’s flight came in late last night, and we had a very special (and late) dinner planned at Shula’s. From the very beginning, the hostess Aly went above and beyond. She called earlier in the day to confirm our reservation, and I explained that my husband and I hadn’t seen each other for a while and would be arriving late. She was incredibly understanding and assured me they would take good care of us.
Throughout the evening, Aly kept in touch, she even called around 7 PM to update me on the last seating time and make sure we wouldn’t feel rushed. When my husband’s flight was delayed, I called again, and she offered to get our order started so everything would be ready right when we arrived. She even helped me choose between the ribeye and another steak cut (I’m not a big meat eater, but my husband is), and she suggested the glazed salmon for me, which turned out to be absolutely delicious!
By the time we arrived (around 9:10 PM), everything flowed perfectly. The kitchen had our entrées ready right on time, our appetizers and drinks came out quickly, and we still had plenty of time to relax and enjoy each other’s company.
The food was amazing, the service was seamless, and the entire team, from the hostess to the wait staff to the valet, made us feel genuinely welcomed. Aly’s thoughtfulness and attention to detail turned what could have been a stressful night into one of the most enjoyable dinners we’ve had in a long time.
Shula’s truly goes the extra mile for their guests. Highly recommend and special thanks to Aly for making our night unforgettable!

Its was ok at best. Ordered the 130 cowboy wasn’t worth half the price. The 40 lobster add on was good. I put we were celebrating on the reservation and this is the 1st time at $100 a plate restaurant i didn’t get a free dessert. After paying i mentioned it wasn’t that good. Basically close to the wost meal I’ve had in awhile. Would have been nice to have gotten a free dessert or something. Any other restaurant would have brought out the GM to address my concerns my server said ok and sent me on my way. Was hoping for more but left disappointed even 3 stars feels like a lot but our server was a nice man probably didnt know how to react or gets that feedback alot which is why the 20% gratuity is automatically added into your bill.

Fantastic service, elegant restaurant, great food. The glazed salmon was perhaps the best salmon I’ve ever had, so tender, it almost melted in my mouth like butter. The rich mashed potatoes were a nice complement.
We visit regularly as a group. Most people get steak. The wine was fabulous. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers and service.

Never again! Valets were great. Wait staff initially good impression, spotty follow-through. Food: uneven… wife’s filet cooked right, my turkey meal left everything to be desired. Five hours later we are both sick: nausea, cramps, overall discomfort. No, we were not sick before going. Spurious charge on bill was deleted when challenged. Twenty percent tip on tax amount…??? Infuriating! Over $110 per person; this was not the experience we were expecting. We won’t be going back, or recommending this place to others.

Tallahassee’s best kept secret. Outstanding food and service. The ambiance is excellent. Mr Shota, our waiter, was extremely professional and made sure we were taken care of. A great option for a date or special occasion. Highly recommended.
