Today we visited Alana • Bar + Tapas and really enjoyed the overall experience.
The atmosphere is one of the biggest highlights — cozy, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed night out. It has a lively but intimate vibe that makes it great for date night or sharing small plates with friends.
The cocktails truly stand out. You can tell there’s real thought put into the drink menu, with creative flavors and quality ingredients. If you enjoy tequila or mezcal-based drinks, this is definitely your place.
Food-wise, the tapas are flavorful and beautifully presented. Dishes like the shrimp tacos, vegetable tacos, and charcuterie are great for sharing and pair nicely with the cocktails. That said, a couple of items felt a bit small for the price, and not every dish was equally memorable — but nothing was disappointing.
Service was friendly and attentive, which really added to the experience.
Overall, Alana is a great spot if you’re looking for a stylish setting, strong cocktails, and a fun tapas-style night out. Even when the food varies slightly, the ambiance and drinks make it worth the visit.

What a great experience we had! The drinks had great presentation, minimalist, and delicious. The decor was beautiful. The food was beautifully presented. I would say this is my new favorite restaurant in Palm Springs. Love the tacos! so flavorful and perfect textures. I will definitely be back soon. the owner chatted with us as we left and his family has a long history of restaurants in PS. Very nice guy.

This lowkey tapas bar completely blew us away. From the second we sat down, the vibe was warm, lively, and effortless. It’s the kind of spot that just feels good to be in. The food was incredible (the tacos were next level good), the cocktails were so well done, and the service was top tier.
Huge shout out to our server Jade, who made the night even better with her energy and thoughtful recommendations. It is rare to find a place that nails the food, drinks, and service all at once, but this one absolutely does. We will definitely be back. 10/10 recommend.

Ambiance is adorable and classy. LOVE the the live music on Thursdays and Fridays (not just standard covers, really unique and fun styles. Plenty of covers, they’re just way better)!
Bartenders are skilled and knowledgeable, also super nice! Truly original cocktails and the tequila list is focused on clean quality true tequilas, they know their stuff!
Attention to detail is great, even down to specials and decor for holidays. It always feels festive and special.

From the moment we arrived, we loved the ambience and warm atmosphere. The service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to recognize our wedding anniversary, which made us feel so appreciated. The food was delicious and served in perfect portions. The live music on Friday nights was fantastic and absolutely worth staying for. A special thank you to our server, Paula—her kindness and attention truly elevated our entire experience. We tried the ps1938 and Vegetable Tacos. Both were delicious. Especially the vegetable tacos were a good surprise as you don’t usually find good food in a bar. I’d say the alcohol in the cocktail could have been a bit more but it was still yummy.
The bartender is awesome and super kind. If I go back, I’ll sit at the chairs that are outside. I love that seating area as you are on the street and also in the bar.
