I wanted to leave a review because I noticed a lot of recent comments saying the staff is rude and the portions aren’t worth the price — that honestly was not my experience at all.
From the moment I walked in, the gentleman at the counter was welcoming, patient, and genuinely friendly. I never felt rushed or ignored, and they were happy to answer questions and make recommendations. I also noticed the same nice and friendly demeanor with the 10+ customers after me while I waited for my meal
I ordered the jerk Rasta pasta with salmon. The pasta itself was very flavorful and well-seasoned, and the portion size was appropriate for the meal. The salmon, in particular, was a pleasant surprise. It was actually a large cut, bigger than what you typically get at most major chain restaurants, and it was cooked well.
I also tried the banana pudding and that really sealed it for me. It tasted like real homemade banana pudding, honestly very similar to the kind I make myself.
Everyone’s experience can be different, but I just wanted to share mine because it was positive. The service was kind, the food was tasty, and the portions I received were absolutely fair for what I paid.

Delicious salmon and rice bowl! Ordered for delivery on DoorDash, they have a $12 meal special and it was quite tasty! Definitely filled me up too!

Chipotle mayo cheesesteak. Idk I guess some people like their food like this? To where the bread is soggy and wet but not I. Unappetizing and I picked this up and live 5 minutes away. Wasnt even the ride or delivery that did this. I would suggest you tell them less sauce or just get it on the side to avoid the possibility. Food was ok. Salty for my taste and certain bites were more fishy than others as if old fish gets mixed with fresh fish to try and offset it…but I can tell

Take out establishment. My first time there. I ordered the Cheesesteak Rolls & a Garden Salad. The C S Rolls were delicious with the sweet chili sauce. The Salad was fresh and plentiful. My only complaint was a heavy or old grease smell in the restaurant. The counter person was pleasant and my wait wasn’t long.

‼️‼️‼️Let me be honest… the salmon was DISGUSTING. Anyone who actually knows real, good-quality salmon can tell this was nasty, toxic-tasting, farm-raised garbage . The smell, texture, and flavor were completely off, like it wasn’t even fresh. For the price, it should’ve been wild-caught — not this cheap mess. Some people might like that nasty, toxic, farm-raised salmon, but I DO NOT‼️ I paid good money for this and got pure disappointment instead. I try to support Black-owned businesses, but if the quality of the food isn’t good, I can’t. Please step ya game up if you want to keep ya business booming‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

They aren’t friendly and the customer service is terrible. For the owner of the establishment to be present and not greet anyone amazes me. This is your business sir and you need to be nice to people supporting your growing business. You need to set the tone instead of ignoring everyone as they pay for your food. The food takes way too long…though I appreciate that it is made to order. But your attitude SUCKS and it’s sad because I want to support businesses that are own by people of color. But I can’t support this business strictly for the unprofessionalism and lack of care given to your customers. Regulars shouldn’t be the only people that are greeted and the lady with the short hair could definitely step up her game and acknowledge customers too. Also, you need to build a wall or something that hides the dishwashing area. It looks tacky.

I was leaving the bike shop and saw this place, which is located at 6667 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19119. The counter person said that this is the second place and the truck is on Broad Street.
It was clean & everyone had on gloves, hair, and beard covers.
Parking: street. It’s very busy, so pack patience.
Atmosphere: open and clean
Service: The counter woman had a poker face as well as the cook. However, she greeted me a good evening. It would be nice to be greeted with a smile.
Food:
1. Ordered the salmon roll. They have, I believe, three dipping sauces you can choose from. I chose Chipotle mayo. Another sauce was sweet chili. It was ok. By the time I went to eat the lobster rolls, they were soggy. I would like to see containers with holes to vent so that fried food doesn’t get soggy.
2. Cheese fries with old bay seasoning were ok. The cheese sauce was cold. I think it should be kept warm, so once it’s put on the fries, they won’t drop the temperature.
The total for the above was $20. The lobster roll was $12, so the fries were about $ I didn’t have much.
Overall, there wasn’t an instant connection, but I’m willing to give them another try and choose something different.

So ima let yall know… the owner is kind of “down”. There’s some things going on with him to where he’s assigned someone, who’s been working there for less than a year, to basically run the place. He has great potential with this place but he needs to get back to focusing. Life can be consuming and I pray he makes it out of whatever he’s going thru . This could be a GREAT place with the right management. Or it’ll be shut down by this time next year. Someone needs to wake him up.

Do not let the negative reviews dissuade you. The salmon burgers with all the fixings are absolutely fire. Same quality of salmon since they opened. In terms of customer service, this is the city of Philadelphia. You won’t catch anymore attitude here than you will at any established Mom & Pop Italian shop down South Philly. Lady at the front was nice and straight to the point, and thats how you know the food is fire.
