The nicest people, and the most delicious food. My husband and I visit this spot at least once a week. We’re lucky enough to live just 5 minutes down the street. Sometimes I’ll even get two orders of the jerk chicken pasta for myself so that I have one for now, one for later. Everything we’ve had on their menu is fantastic. There’s so much variety because they’ll let you mix and match things. My husband is partial to the oxtail and chicken or goat curry.

Food was not that great. The pasta is very watery and has very little flavor to it. I normally just get the oxtails which is amazing but wanted to try something new and I was very disappointed.

First, you must know Jamaican food; I do. This is authentic Jamaican food. There’s no question to that. The taste is good. Especially, fitting considering the location. You don’t expect the best version of this food here, sorry, no offense intended. Let’s just be real about things. This review will be for those who like Jamaican food and aren’t expecting perfection every time. If you have a desire for Jamaican food and this doesn’t fulfill or satisfy, I’ll just assume you’re the problem. This food is good. Authentic. Very well seasoned and prepared. Is it the best I ever had? No. And I truly think they deserve to be in business and have a line whenever they are open.

I had the jerk chicken meal. I was disappointed with the rice and peas. Chicken was good. I also tried rum cake and beef patty, and they were good.

Not good. Online, it’s advertised as $11.00, once you get there, it’s $28 for the plate, and it’s mostly all rice!!
I ordered the curry goat, and there were only 6 cube size pieces, and the rest was suppose to be “ peas and rice”. I “really wanted” to like the food/truck, but I was disappointed. Hopefully, the culinary skills can catch up to the cost of the items.

Ahe was a truly a sweet lady but knowing real Caribbean flavor is something I know rice and beans had no color no flavor it look like straight white rice. The curry chicken was not as good as I expected this is the second time I visited this place rasta pasta is the best but I say no to everything else!

I had the jerk chicken pasta. It was super good. It was just a little messy when it came out & the sauce was spilling all over my bag but it’s all good.

It truly breaks my heart to write this review. I grew up in South Florida, so Jamaican food is nothing new to me—it was a weekly staple for my family and me. Unfortunately, this food is simply not good.

I’ve ordered from here a total of four times, always hoping for a better experience. I would often tell my husband, “Maybe they just had a bad day. Let’s try again.” But in my opinion, this is the worst Jamaican food I’ve ever eaten. It’s overly oily, poorly seasoned, and the rice and peas were truly inedible. I don’t know how else to describe the food other than horrible.

The whole fish had a weird gritty taste. It tasted like it was coveted in cornmeal. It was simply horrible.

Oh my goodness. It’s after 11 and website says they are open. I call to make sure to confirm their location and I am glad I did because I have a interview this afternoon and have been wanting to stop back by since my cousin left. (He flew in and left a few weeks ago). Come to find out they are at the Lakewood Farmers market. No problem I let them know I am on they way. I get on the bus(30 minutes out of my way). I call again to confirm where they are and then told food ready for an hour. Now, I go with no lunch today. Good thing I bought some tangerines. I am confused why she wouldn’t have inform me food won’t be ready for 2 hours after I call. Trying to support my people to find out no matter what state you are in we are always late. Good food, but dang what an inconvenience.
